Whoaaah, a 98? Holy.... woah :P
I with normal rolling got max a 95 and with uncommon rolling (with a program called re roller made by frabjous) was able to get an 100 with a elf ranger after 3 hours of auto rolling (aprox. 14 rolls per second done, now make your calculations :D )

What? 3 hours running a program?

Why didn't you just use Shadowkeeper?

Hehe.

Just wanted to point out I made a clean vanilla BG1 install and started a fun chaotic run with a cleric/thief.

Atts : 18, 18, 18, 10, 17, 16 without any reroller or whatever. Simple pleasure of finger-killing.

Made some screenies and will post them. For now it's proceeding extremely well.

Yeah... i think Vanilla is more... ehm no... its less annoying then modded.
Look what kind of crap i have found in Ulgoths Beard, dunno which living facepalm had this idea:

Image IPB

I used Friends-Spell to buff my Charisma till 25 and could buy f.e. the 100K papers for about 84K and sell it again
for full price. What a bullsh*t ! :o

When killing Sirines and the kind? Heck yeah. When killing easy targets or average ones? I prefer a stab or two in the back with Flamming sword and draw upon holy might.
Sure, some awesome spells are only present on BG2, but heck, I still think that clerics and their multies and duals are the most powerful class in the game.

I just don't understand how the hell can I backstab with clubs, but I guess the logical answer would be "it's a thief melee weapon".
But alas, that is a mystery I live for another day, like stabbing an ogre in the face with a maul in Dragon age...

That's why I only use my own for the most part.:)

I prefer Vanilla; if I ever went the BGT route it would be my own implementation. I tried it once before and had to patch the EXE to get the movie projector working - that and the renaming of internal resources and whatnot turned me off to the whole thing. Messy from a modding standpoint.

Unlike Skellimancer i completely eradicated the Bandits Camp.
Funny what happens when u use Ring Of Invisibility with an Quarterstaff+2(+1W6 Bludgeon Damage and 5% more crit:bandit:) and because of a stupid tweak, that lets enemys "follow" you when going invisible; which means they will completely surround you (passive violance? =]). Well nothing helps more for some freespace then a trusty Wand of Fire

?Havent i explained it 2-3 pages earlier? I thought women have a better memory

@ Dark-Lauron: Search on google for a Image/picture upload site.
After upload search for the string that is recommended for "Messageboards" or "Forums"
They should have this  "[img]" around them

Boooyeaah! It worked!

Now, where is the text?
AHA! Here's the text.
So yeah, this is the evil way ™ to kill Shoal for 5K XPs... the battle lasted exactly 3 seconds. She died fast without even reacting.
Now, I will make a photofest.

Also : nah, this isn't a no reload. I reloaded already too many times. This is my slightly evil way to earn your XPs :ph34r:

Who is Shoal?

Btw.: I think this is a very good idea for Kensai/Mages.

Level Up til Lvl 9 but try to get around the 3 (4?) Elminsters in the game.

When you dual class take your new Familiar and get yourself some good XP's

(for me it would be now "just" 39K, but on vanilla it should be more!)

Only 'many' if you include small modifications like the bag of holding in Jon's dungeon. I didn't contribute to online communities so my mods are unknown. Some of my old stuff (from Black Isle days) included restored vampire encounters, Imoen using one CRE throughout SoA (what she was wearing when she was taken away was still visible through cutscenes, for example), restored BG Bhaalspawn powers after beating Jon in SoA, simplified the pretzel hallway in Jon's dungeon, and a number of minor things. NPCs didn't interest me so I didn't write them; instead I downloaded a few I enjoyed/contributed to and keep them handy for when I re-install the game. Most of my time was spent fixing bugs, and in that I did collaborate online with Dudleyville and a few others. That was all a long time ago though, and I don't know how much survived my two computer upgrades since then.
