1) Did you know that DEM does not have to come at the ending, it can come anywhere? Nevermind I called the Catalyst a subversion of the DEM, because he too needs Shepard.
!) The Catalyst is introduced suddenly and unexpectedly and provides a contrived solution to an apparently insoluble difficulty.
2) Wrong, ME3's side quests weren't the main focus of the game, unlike ME2. You do not even have to do most of them to get the best ending.
2) Yes, they were. I guess you didn't do too well collecting that EMS, did you?
3) Only idiotic according to you....the MacGuffin shows that other cycles fought the Reapers before and their fight gives the next cycle a chance.
3) The MacCrucible serves as the impetus for the plot and was introduced in a completely contrived manner. The way it was introduced was idiotic--five minutes in and Liara suddenly stumbles upon this, despite the library being deciphered for 30 years?
4) And what post ending contuinity problems is this?
4) Holding hands with Harbinger.
1) Wrong, Shepard provides the solution. In fact, the Catalyst is powerless to solve anything other than using the cycle. And its the situation that provides the solution, not the Catalyst. In fact, Shepard getting the Crucible into the Citadel was key in the first place. Once again, the "God from the Machine" is the one with the problem, the protagonist is the solution, try again.
2) However, you can skip most EMS quests and still get to 3100. You can't skip loyalty quests without serious repercussions.
3) Please.....nevermind the fact that it takes place in the gap between ME2 and ME3, which will be covered in Homeworlds #4. Nevermind that it took the Prothean expert with her Shadow Broker resources to uncover it because the research team did not know what it is. It comes less out of the blue than say Vigil's data file or the Cipher.
4) Please....the antagonist can be right you know....but in this case, its player choice.
