Player spawns on new maps

Really looking forward to playing with these new classes a bit more. One small problem - I've played three games so far, and in two of them been dropped in mid-wave. Not a problem, it can be a lot of fun to be dropped in to the thick of things. Only, the first time was on FBV, and I entered a game with a husk hugging my face, and by the time I was about half way through removing it, a cannibal 'nade was at my feet. Result, dead before I could do a thing. Game three, FBL. Spawn in the middle of a wave of Cerberus troopers and deployed smoke cannisters. Take the nearest cover available, next to a nemesis, who kindly made room for me, in order to try and see where the hell I was on the map, just in time for me to be mowed down. Then a kindly trooper stomped my face in before moving on. Net result, dead without being able to do anything.

I actually laughed both times, so I'm not raging over it. I would just like to ask the devs if it's possible to give you at least a small chance to be able to get out of the player spawn zone and start playing when dropped in mid-game. Even a few seconds immunity, just enough time to run for cover far enough away to be safe, would be nice. I think I may have been able to do that on FBL in hindsight, but first game on the map, so I'm not too down on myself for the call.

Apart from that, cheers BW. Would go in to what I'm liking a bit here, but I gather there's about a salarian-load of threads on that already. ;)
