Like said there, I thought he, along with Diana Allers, was the worst written char in the whole trilogy.
If he would have been like in the first books, without this Ninja-garbage, i could have taken him a bit more serious, but since the cereal thing that is gone too.
I just can't see how, alongside great foes like Saren and TIM, bioware was able to write such a ****ty, one-dimensional dork like him.
Opinion towards Kai Leng (with poll)

Every time I see that guy, my blood starts to boil. His plotarmor is just infuriating.

He is a ninja... A ninja in space? Need I say more?

Plot armor... what he does to my favorite character. Just generally bland.
Meh.

I kinda like him. He's stupid, but sort of a charming, campy kind of stupid.

I love to hate Kai Leng. In my opinion, people shouldn't like antagonists, I think the most successful bad guys are real ***holes that nobody likes. That just makes it all the more satisfying to kill them.

I cant even hate him, he doesn't have a character that can be hated.
I just facepalm everytime I see him.
THAT is something that makes a bad villain.

I don't remember that character. 'Nuff said.

I like him in the books. He isn't very well written in the game but i can not say i disliked this character in ME3. The voice actor saved Kai Leng. Troy Baker did a great job.
And also proved that human ninjas are better than kung fu drells.

I can't hate a plot device, particularly when its so blatantly obvious.
"Hurr durr remember cerberus are still baddies derp"
I put neutral because Kai Leng is too transparent to invoke strong feelings one way or another.

He will always be remembered as a prime example of a really bad villain. So far maybe the worst in gaming history.
Love how BioWare staff were so convinced pre-release that they established a really badass villain and bragged about it.

I don't have strong feelings about Kai Leng. Which is a criticism in and of itself, because he was just a plot foil and otherwise unremarkable. He was in an even rockier boat than Saren was in ME1, who freaking disappeared for most of the game. But at least Saren had setup and conviction and you got a sense his power was growing and he was always one step ahead of you. Kai Leng's popping up didn't come with much clarification on his motives other than obsessive devotion to TIM and Cerberus.
If I'm required to read the novels in order to care about Kai Leng, that's a failure. As TIM's right arm, Kai Leng could have been neat but as it stands he was just sort of flailing about messing things up. Hell, if Miranda had gone back to Cerberus and filled Kai Leng's role, it would have crazy, insane and awesome. Because you understood her motivations.

Only Liara has stronger plot armor than Mr. Leng.
Seriously, he was made out to be an arch-nemesis/boss that you encounter over the course of the game that's supposed to be tough and make your Shepard's life miserable but Bioware failed miserably. He's just an annoyance. Leng is certainly no Wesker or Liquid.Or hell even Saren..

I actually have a hard time thinking of a worse villain than Kai leng, and I mean in fiction in general.

Every time I saw Leng ingame, I wanted to stab myself as it would be a less painful experience. I had to clear my room of all sharp implements.
