I just feel that if there was a better group to representative. It seems that everyone jumped on the first one that seemed decently good. It could have turned out better n perhaps if all you weren't so easy to give up things can be different.

man corporate structure is not that simple

You've got more chance of beating the Elite Four with a lvl 3 magikarp than you have of resurrecting the retake movement and getting new endings... Sorry.

You know what? I'll be in charge of the retake movement.

How much is the pay?

Can I quit afterwards?

Do I have the option to crumble the movement before I quit?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...

HA.

I'm pretty sure Jack and Miranda follow Shepard's and Liara's example and get together and solve their... differences looking at a copy of Vaenia.

What is the point?

The choices are either:
A) enjoy or hate Mass Effect for what it is now
B) purchase games from Bioware or games that suit your needs from other publishers

We never owned any right to the story of Mass Effect, and Shepard was never really 'our' character. Love it or hate it, the game master can do whatever they want with the overarching story and limit our character's choices and actions to whatever they deem fit.  The general rule is that the player's character generally has the option to do what they player feels they should be able to do, but Bioware always owned the story.  Love, hate, or simply meh about the ending, it will not change and will forever be a case study.

And just like Star Wars, some will move on from their disappointment. Others will enjoy it for what it was. And others will enjoy it for what it is and still is. What has been done can never be undone.

Well think of it this way. The new retake would atleast be a group of people why are vocal with dissatisfaction. The overall objective it to point out the atrocities in the industry, not just mass effect. There aren't really any big open group that supports the fight against greed that ruins games I mean look at what happened with Diablo. But instead of whining childish comments its well put together comments from intelligent people gaining the general consensus of issues the fans have.

I'm still waiting for the time I use splash attack and something awesome happens.

"Magikarp, use splash attack!"

"SO BE IT."

... And then Kanto was covered in reapers.

You only got what you got  because the outpouring was so profoundly negative that it endangered not only DLC sales for the game, but the franchise.

If the EC was what had been done in the first place there might have been some disgruntled players, but no one would have been anywhere ticked enough for "Retake"

In case you hadn't paid attention when the EC dropped, most people were somewhere on the "happy with it" scale. Because all most people REALLY wanted was some idea that there was a difference in the choices.

They got that.

It's over.

How much money would that DLC make?

Amazing how many people here still hate the endings and yet fall into the defeatist mindset that nothing else can be done. If people believed that in the first place there would be no EC. Ever heard of a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Yes, let's retake retake mass effect. Or maybe we should retake retake retake mass effect first?

I say start a new group from scratch. If someone created a forum post that they stated they have a good education (stated where) they have 30 min to 1 hour a day to put into this and are relentless but smart about how they manage this. I'd be game for joining. Its not fixing the retake movement. Its a whole new one led by a trusted/ smart figure. Someone who wouldn't also accept defeat.

The first "retake" was obnoxious enough. (Which I still don't get... how does someone "retake" something that was never theirs in the first place?)

Do we REALLY need a sequel?
