Wait what?

There is already a great retake ME movement constantly working to forge the ending even BioWare couldn't, because it'd take too much time and effort (probably a dozen more hours of gameplay and cutscenes)

Follow koobismo (the real story starts with episode 6th) - if you don't know it yet, you'd be positively surprised :)

Clearly the ending to this videogame affects your life significantly.

Retake for what then? So that we're given ANOTHER steaming, passive-agressive, heap of shyte in answer? Unless you find these folks, gather them up into a room, and have them waterboarded should they even slightly veer from whatever it is you're after, then that's all you'll ever see.

It's Dennis Moore, over and over again-

DM- 'We've done it!'

Players- 'Have we-?'

DM- 'Yes, oh glorious day! We've retaken Mass Effect Three!'

P- 'And what have we taken? A better ending? A more expanded narrative? Conventional...'

DM- 'Ah...'

P- 'Well, then?'

DM- 'I BRING YOU LUPINES! LUPINES! HUZZAH!' *rides off*

And then don't dare complain- lest someone say you're naught but a lot of entitled whingebags.

Ouch, Wonka is right. We not only got shut in ME universe, we believed BioWare is the one that gives cookies.
But the cookies come from your mind, Shepard. Wake up and free yourself from indoctrination.
I guess this is it, bye, people :)

not for nothing ive read the books n comics. i like mass effects story. the ending is poorly written and over the top. it dont effect my life but i was hoping there would be something new in my life to put the small of time i have to satisfy my geeky side. between, work, personal matters, and my social life, freinds women ect....... i want something great and mass effect was that. my geeky side is lost right now n needs direction, if mass effect can be saved ill dedicate the little time i have to that. you sometimes have to keep the little things in life sacred.

All I want is an ending without the starchild. Is a "retake Harbinger" movement too much to ask for?

It's called accepting (finally) that Mass Effect is Bioware's story to tell as they see fit.  They don't want to dramatically change the ending, they've said and demonstrated it several times over.

There just comes a point where you accept it for what it is... and if it is unacceptable to you, then you walk away.  If the story isn't what you want, then you find one that does.

No. I've moved on to my, no more money for Bioware stage. It's the last step in accepting the situation as is

No OP, it has nothing to do with pessimism. You have to be realistic. They've already done the EC. Satisfying or not, it's the final answer. You'll get maybe some further explanations in the next DLCs, but the game as well the endings stay as they are.

I just feel that if there was a better group to representative. It seems that everyone jumped on the first one that seemed decently good. It could have turned out better n perhaps if all you weren't so easy to give up things can be different.

Hey man, maybe you haven't noticed but the EC placated a lot of people, including me. It's not giving up to feel that the endings are satisfactory. It just means a lot of people feel BioWare did enough.

Why? Everybody wants a different ending. And no, I love ME3 at it is.

Firstly, OP, I find it cowardly and distasteful to call someone incompetent, say you can't do any better yourself, and then ask others to stand up for you. It's pathetic and a show of poor character.

Secondly, Retake has had its effect. I supported it in the initial days, it caused quite a sh*tstorm, but it has lost its purpose at this point. BW did change a few things about the ending, reverted destroying the relays, cleared up a few major points.

Seriously, it feels that we now have a truce that had both parties give in on their wishes. I see no gain in starting yet another forum war with BW. I'm done with it, the damage is done and I have drawn my conclusions about BW/EA.

This thread is like that one episode of South Park where people just start declaring "shenanigans" for whatever reasons.

I do it because I love them. giving them money at this point just feels like I'm encouraging their sloppy work. they made me do this to them :(

I have a better idea, why don't you idiots make your own ending with the permission bioware in the future, get ExoGeni to fund the security on the project, make sure the council doesn't get involved, the alliance should donate everything they would use to make the crucible to you guys, take EA to court for making a really bad ending and then bring more hope to Commander Shepard rather than bitching about it on an internet forum where nobody gives a damn after they've already given one.
