Everytime my friends or I try to join eacother's games, it says that neither of us have the new dlc and to go download it ( if I try to join their games it says I dont have the dlc and vica versa ). Though we were playing together yesterday ( I was using the pirhana and he was using N7 fury. Has anyone else experienced this?
Not allowed to join my friend's games :(

Yes.
"You were unable to join your friends game you are not using the same version of the game. Please download the latest update and try again." Or something similar.
This message appeared after the first member of our party received his Commendation Pack, and occurred several times after one or members of the party left the game and tried to rejoin. Host juggling seemed to have no effect, but a reboot of each console AFTER opening our commendation packs (which were time delayed for some reason, we all received our packs at different times) SEEMED to resolve this issue.
