I don't think any of the character's ages in this game are disclosed although Shale is at least 300-400 years old.

I like to know what character's ages are of the games I play.  Since they're not mentioned in Dragon Age.  I just imagine their ages.

Here are my guesses.

Alistair:26
Morrigan:24
Sten:41
Shale:420
Dog:7
Lelianna:19
Oghren:38
Zevran:22
Wynne:59
Loghain:54

Yeah. I assumed Lelianna is younger than Morrigan.
Lelianna is hot in that sweet and innocent kind of way whereas Morrigan is sexy in a deep lustful kind of way.

I'm going to agree with this.   Based on thier backgrounds I would assume the thieves are both a bit older.  I aso think you are assuming sten is old because of his pouchy eyes and craggy face, but that s probaby more because of his race than age

I don't think Sten is "old". He just has the look of a seasoned veteran who has seen a large amount of combat. Honestly though, it's hard to guess what Sten's age is since there is little to go by. I just imagine a human with Sten's demeanor and a picture a middle aged battle hardened warrior.

Ahhhh... that's info for the VO people. It's an apparent age and gives a range for the actor, not his actual age.

Don't say Alistair is 32...apparently it scares David....

Since I think of Alistair as only a couple of years older than the human noble that probably puts him around 20.

32 my butt and morrigan 30?? Bs at most Allistar is 23-28 and morr 22-26 lies and slander I say! and lei has got to be 18-21...and ohgren older then sten? this is wack!

Looks reasonable to me, although I think it's safe to say that Leliana's age is highly debatable. I usually imagine her no older than 23 when we meet. Not sure why.
Anyway, I believe there is one thing for certain; Loghain can't possibly be much younger than 48.

I am fairly certain through dialog characters ages should fall in these ranges



Alistair: 21-24 (if I didn't know better I would think he was twelve - he is a jr member and didn't finish his templar training)

Morrigan: 22-24 (her stories all come from childhood and adolescence but she has had a few lovers)

Sten: 38-44 (I am least certain about this because so little is possible to find out)

Shale:well over 1000 years (the secret was lost 1000 years ago, Shale was one of the first)

Dog:4-6 (based on his puppy like yet seasoned behavior - fictional breed so this is also more of a guess)

Lelianna: 28-32 (she has experienced a ton and says she is significantly older than she looks)

Oghren: 30-34

Zevran: 22-26

Wynne: 62-66

Loghain: 53-57

Well if the VO thing is correct, that would put Loghain's age at 18 at the end of "The Calling" novel - so that's not correct, cause that would make him... what... 4(?) in "The Stolen Throne" (given the time covered in TST, that makes him unborn at the start, hmmm. Pretty good fighter for a phoetus)
The age difference between those two needs to be *at least* 16 years greater I'd think. I can see why saying Ali is 32 scares the autor of those books.
A dialogue between Leliana and Wynne implies that Wynne estimates around 20 years between them:

• Wynne: It is sometimes so hard to believe that you have been through so much, at such a young age.
• Leliana: I think I look younger than I am.
• Wynne: Yes... yes, that is possible. When I was your age I was just about ready to take on my first apprentice.
• Wynne: In hindsight, perhaps I should have waited a few more years. I was arrogant, my confidence bolstered by my youth.
• Leliana: It is so hard to imagine, seeing you now.
• Wynne: Oh, I've had some two decades or so to grow mellow. Believe me, back then I was quite... prickly.
• Leliana: So you are like a fine wine, yes? Losing the raw edges over time?
• Wynne: I suppose there is some truth to that analogy but dear Maker, I do hate being compared to wine. Or cheese.
• Wynne: Especially cheese.
