NWMax Plus v3.10.09 is now available.

This latest fix corrects a spinner issue in the AuroraFlex modifier, and only pertains to the 3DSMax versions.

Michael, I tried to use grass values with the set editor and it keeps me givin the same issue.

hey MDA, could you please include chiliskinner back into it. I always use it to get the right view in perspective when modeling in general. The origin centered view on parts is essential for me. If not thanks anyway for your work;)

Ambient and diffuse grass lighting seems to work fine (even i dont really use it, i just keep everything at 1 and use the texture to control colour), the other decimal value should be the selector height, im not sure about it atm i have it set at 8, and doors... well I havent used doors yet so I cant say. :(

I'm going to need some help with this one.  I've added what I think you are referring to.  In the following screenshot I highlighted what I think, however if I'm wrong, point me in the right direction.

As a side note.  If that is what you are referring to, I think the highlighted buttons in the next screenshot actually work better.  Not to mention the way the ChiliSkinner buttons work depends on the selections you have made on these two buttons.

I confirm the comma issue with doors: it exports with comma instead of point, this causes an approximation to the integer value ignoring the numbers following the comma.

I tested, still having issues: now it exports safely, but opening the set file causes the door values to give errors, looks like on importing them it reads for example 1.36 as 136, and gives an unhandled exception: value of 136 is not valid for value. value should be between minimum and maximum.

so its ok on export, but **** values on import :(

Thanks for all the work on the CC tools DarkAngel, difference in what I was using two plus years ago and where they are today is amazing!

Although I *did* figure out what I was doing wrong, and OTR *did* post the solution, could you add in a sanity check to be sure the old fool doing a skin puts the skin *above* any tri-mesh, etc modifiers?

Currently, if the skin isn't on top of the stack, the script aborts with

With this update I need a little help.  A while back _six mentioned a scaling bug in the Robe and Armor Maker.  So I have finally decided to make an attempt at squashing it.  Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about making robes or armor.  So I would like to enlist the help of anyone better versed than myself in this subject.

I have gone through and done my customary code re-write (this way when someone tells me about the bug I'll have a better understanding of what the code is trying to do).  The only changes I made are cosmetic (the way the rollout appears), this should have no bearing on how the Robe and Armor Maker works.

So, by all means, run it through its paces and let me know how/if it works the way it should.

MDA, last night Max crashed while doing something. This morning when I went on line it reported the crash to Autodesk and they suggested applying the Update 6 for Max 2013. I did that thing. Now NwMax plus (latest version) does this at startup:

My only suggestion at this moment is to try the following:

if (node == undefined) then (

     return

)

Until I finish re-installing everything on my PC I can't help you more.

I don't know if that will fix things, but it looks as if that's where the script is stopping.

Luckily enough 3DSMax 2014 has the same issue.

And here is the fix:

if (node == undefined) then (

     return 0

)

You could even leave the excess lines commented out, or delete altogether if you wish.

You would then have the following:

if (node == undefined) then return 0

Both blocks have been tested with 3DSMax 2014.  I'll post an update in the next day or two.

A minor fix for 3DSMax 2013 and newer.  Not yet tested with older versions.

[EDIT]Tested and verified that it does work with 3DSMax8, which means should work with older versions as well as newer versions[/EDIT]
