I think it needs to be buffed personally. Maybe add some innate armor piercing or something.

I'd say buff it's firepower. What's the use of rate of fire increase if it lacks the necessary fire power to make a dent in enemy shields?

Personally, if we're talking gun preference, I go for assault rifles over snipers. One-shot wonders have nothing over sustained fire. In the long run, I think it's a more satisfying battle experience when you have to work up to bringing down that tough boss. ^_^

It's been ages since I did multiplayer, but I remember some praise for my Soldier who basically alternated between a fully-leveled Concussive Shot and controlled Assault Rifle bursts. In fact, the only complaint I ever got was, "stop knocking EVERY enemy down, there's no one for US to shoot."

So I dunno, maybe that style doesn't work anymore, but it was marvelous in the demo period.

I'm more a guy for the burst-type weapons. But has anybody figured out if it ignores Shield-gate?

Does it prime for Biotic Explosions?
