I have seen some questions from fans about mods that were "missing" from the most recent Multiplayer Manifest. These items are:
  • Assault Rifle High-Velocity Barrel
  • Assault Rifle Thermal Scope
  • Sniper Rifle High-Velocity Barrel
  • Sniper Rifle Thermal Scope
  • Shotgun High-Velocity Barrel
  • Shotgun Omni-Blade
  • Pistol Heavy Barrel
These items were deliberately excluded as we realized that they required some patching that was not ready in time for Earth. They will be available in a future update once the patch is complete.

Yeah, I was wondering what happened. They were in the manifest when only the names were up, but disappeared after the pictures to the new gear were added.

Edit: I'm interested to see a shotgun with both the omni-blade mod and the shotgun blade mod. 50% increase to melee damage ain't to shabby especially for melee-centric characters like the N7 Shadow.

Uh oh... I was thinking this was a simple fix that would be done in a few days. But look at ULM. If they can't fix weight reducing mods in 4 months.... I really wanted these new mods. Spent 2.1mil and real money looking for them... I hope it wasn't in vein.

Please fix the Hurricane ammo issue stuck at 1 while you're working on the patch.

Probably because it was in one of the announcements for the DLC.

"New Powerful Upgrades – Outfit your weapons with 12 new modifications
and fortify your gear with 11 unique upgrades to defeat even the
toughest foes."

I guess this is "Good News".

Closure is always nice. Knowing things is nice.

These sound similar to things we already have; anyone have an idea as to what they will do?

What are 'thermal scopes' going to do? Let you see critters through the walls and such like a tactical scan?

Good to know we will get them sooner or later :-)

For perfection, there should be any possible combination for weapons, like melee stunner + AP barrel for SMG, etc., as well as for the gear.

E.g. for the packages:

                                        Biotics +10% / grenades +2
                                        Sniper Rifle +10% / grenades +3
                                        Biotics +10% / SMG +10%

and so on.

It´s not a question if any of the packages makes "sense", but everyone should be able to tryout whatever he/she is up to.

Thanks for the update. Not sure if this counts as "good news" since I'm skeptical whether there will be another patch, but at least it's nice to know whats going on.

The shotgun omni-blade increases melee damage by %50, High velocity barrel increases damage as well as increasing armor penetration in exchange for added weight.

Yeah, that's what has me scared. A future update? How many patches have we gotten since march for MP? One? I really hope this doesn't take 4 months....

My nemesis is very angry at the moment but she is willing to wait for sniper thermal scope for when it is working properly.

And what of the new Uncommon Gear? I blew 7 mil and didn't get any of the new uncommon gears. Nor did a friend that blew 10 mil.

Hope the patch comes out soon, the threshold for acceptable time between patches is getting pretty slim. Lack of communications on what's being worked on (this being an exception) to the player base and the length between the last patch and now (with the existing bugs, especially missile and vanguard) are making players... displeased. The balance of big bugfixes vs timely fixes (though I guess money factors into it) is... weighing heavily on heavy bugfixes, so if there aren't big fixes... I don't expect the community to be pleased.
