There's no reason to. MP and SP have two seperate dev teams. Bioware said so.

A problem though. The MP team seems very small now, and it makes more sense (financially) to release a patch when a big Sp dlc is about to come out. That way they can fix problems with MP and SP with one stone with only paying once.

It's a lot more powerful but it makes the shotgun heavier.

Isn't an omni blade holographic?  Shouldn't that be lighter and less damaging than a metal blade attached?

You'd think, but the "holographic" part of the omni-blade is the containment field of the energy it releases.

Think of it as being similar to a lightsaber, and you probably aren't too far off.

Even if the blade itself weight nothing, it is created by a generator that could very well weight more than a bit of sharpened metal.

That's how I see it, anyway.
