Will deal 50% additional damage, but weigh more. Bayonet deals 25% with no down side.

I believe the omni-blade adds 50% melee damage compared to the 25% damage boost of the bayonet.

Didn't expect you to ever say that.Mgamerz wrote...
Hope the patch comes out soon, the threshold for acceptable time between patches is getting pretty slim. Lack of communications on what's being worked on (this being an exception) to the player base and the length between the last patch and now (with the existing bugs, especially missile and vanguard) are making players... displeased. The balance of big bugfixes vs timely fixes (though I guess money factors into it) is... weighing heavily on heavy bugfixes, so if there aren't big fixes... I don't expect the community to be pleased.

Eventually, enough is enough. Even the most stalwart defender of a concept has to admit that, at some point, excuses (valid or not) fail to justify.

I assumed they'd highlight enemies through smoke (as well as unobscured enemies), but do a better job of it than that useless Sniper Rifle Enhanced Scope Mod.Beerfish wrote...
What are 'thermal scopes' going to do? Let you see critters through the walls and such like a tactical scan?

Finally your starting to understand how to deal with a full blown shooter community. Being open and communicating what is not working and what you need to delay release to really work on.
Now can we continue this process by having a solid list of known bugs that you have active tickets in the works for. I am getting tired of having to list all the things that aren't quite right for new people joining the game. Ultralight Materials on SMGs is a biggy, but things like the Battlemaster Rage not granting its Rage mode bonuses is another.

And what of the new Uncommon Gear? I blew 7 mil and didn't get any of the new uncommon gears. Nor did a friend that blew 10 mil.
I spent 7.2M (view what dropped for me here) and didn't get any of the uncommon gear either, and some of the "rare" gear was also not unlocked.
It would be nice if Chris or anyone from Bioware could come here and say something officially about why these are not being unlocked for people that spend 7 and 10 million credits.
They tell us our best chance of unlocking Ultra-Rare weapons are to buy PSPs. Why not tell us our best chance of landing different types of Gear?
Hello? Bueller? Anyone?

I have 1 rank of the engineering kit gear. It is possible to get one of the Uncommon Gear drops, though it seems exceedingly unlikely. I think I popped it out of a Veteran Pack. I use those to refill my consumables before heading upstream to PSP's. I spent over 7 million credits on psp's and veteran packs that's the only one of the new uncommon gears I received.

- Assault Rifle High-Velocity Barrel
- Assault Rifle Thermal Scope
- Sniper Rifle High-Velocity Barrel
- Sniper Rifle Thermal Scope
- Shotgun High-Velocity Barrel
- Shotgun Omni-Blade
- Pistol Heavy Barrel
Good call. If it started to show up bugs, BSN would become a living hell. Better to wait a little bit ^^

I thinlk this is pretty cool, all things considered. These new items give a lot of options for players - I think it will be a lot of fun.
Hopefully the devs won't nerf all of it, but I have no confidence in that.
