What Would Be Wrong For The Paladin To Have Slow Movement Speed Like The Cerberus Guardian?

I agree with the slow movement speed. However deploying the shield changes the enemy AI behaviour, so this may be more difficult to implement than expected.

I want a shield and sword class. Two new classes get a katana so he should get a sword. It would be really funny.\\\\\\

I agree though he should be able to move with it as long as he can roll. classes that cant are annoying to play.

YES, I went one on one with Guardian, we were both peering at each other through our shields, so i'm like ' Hey see I don't have a slot in MY shield' and he's like, 'hey well I can move AND shoot you with my shield up so who cares', and I'm like 'well yeah' but my only come-back was to just get rid of my fancy shield and blow his head off through his silly slot. But you know my feelings are still hurt a bit. So why not let us SHOOT with it also.

Yeah I mean if the shadow broker can run with the omni shield then why cant humans go at a slow walk with it lol O-o?

If the Paladin could at least walk with the shield, I'd be happy, and I would play that class. For now it's just going to sit there gathering dust, like all the other classes I don't play.

The lack of movement doesn't really bother me, what really bothers me is the enemies tend to ignore you once you set your shield down.

Hell, even rotation of the shield with your body as the focal point instead of between you and the shield... you can't even spin properly.

a little bit of movement like the guardian shouldn't really be that a big of deal I mean they can patch this in the future can't they?

The shield is much more useful for melee purposes than it is for defense right now that you can't move with it at all. Still, the class is quite fine as it is, but it would be awesome if they made slow movement with the shield possible.

I totally agree with this, the Paladin is a tank/protector, he should definitely have the ability to move at a reduced movement speed at least. It would make him actually be able to play the role he was supposed to play.

I just hope the balance team can add a patch to give him slow movement or have that be a option in the power tree

I just don't understand he is a defense liability since he can't move with the shield yet a cerberus human guardian can walk with a iron shield and shoot you in the face with a pistol....
