I hear things like this frequently when I switch to my Drelldept.
that's complete and utter lies, and anyone who says it knows very little about the functionings of ME3 Multiplayer.
On caster classes (whom never really put everything in fitness), there's is virtually no point of adding fitness at all. On platinum, the shield gate is the only thing saving you from being one-shotted by every weapon out there. As such, the Drell adept will be just as durable/fragile as a Cerberus adept. And have worked on the team as a Cerberus adept for a while now (with nothing in fitness) without ever seeing much trouble.
In terms of being the best setup for a Smasher team, the drell is far superior to the Justicar, as while she is getting duration on powers (which counts for nothing, as the targets will be detonated and killed long before the reave wears off), the drell gets power damage, which will overall improve the effectiveness of the biotic artillery firing on the enemies. The justicar however does also recieve the sphere, which may help remotely if set up properly. If the shield recharge ability is taken, then it may be a good choice between them, otherwise I'd take the intelligent Drell any day.
In short: A skilled Drelldept will be a far more valuable asset than a Justicar in detonations and damage alone.
