I wouldn't call Platinum easy just because you found a map exploit that let's you counter the gameplay.
ROFL at calling taking advantage of a chokepoint an "exploit."
Anyways, I call Platinum easy because I could solo it on day 1 easily, beat it in 15 minutes on a standard run while just running around, farm it very lazily on any map, and be able to carry randoms through it the first time I tried it.

Additionally, I do not think that the dev will eat his hat until:
1.) Someone who hasn't beaten Platinum solo farms it
2.) Everyone starts doing this.
But again, I will try to do so. Thanks

GP, in the video I noticed you re-deploy Pylon every once in a while. Why? I thought pylon will stay and never disappear? (I dont' have demolisher yet...)

Because it restocks a grenade (or 2 if you have it specced for that) instantly when you deploy it.

Pylon will give out ammo every ~10s and grenade every ~14s, but if you re-deploy, it resets that cycle, i.e. gives a set right away. So it is a way to get ammo NOW.
Also, when you re-deploy, the old one explodes dealing some (minimal) area damage if there are enemies around it, although I do not think it was used for this purpose on the video.

you can redeploy every 10 seconds and get 2 nades or wait 15 to 20 seconds for them to generate the redeploy is better economics more nades = more dead enemys

Yes, that's why I posted a lazy man's strategy that I felt any random could do. If I was going for pure efficiency, I would be running around the map and finishing much faster

But do you think the randoms (the average ones that struggle in gold with full teams) will still be able to get through the objective waves easily?
EDIT: Fix typo at the start, I meant "do" not "don't". Still, I think GP got my point.

Well, that was an issue for FBWGG farming too. It's no different really. And really, you have 20 missiles, 20 thermal clip packs, 20 ops survival packs, and 20 medigels for those 3 waves.
I don't know about "average," but I suspect that many players are capable of farming this way, and not just highly skilled players.

Screwing with semantics to save some hats, aren't you? Not that I particularily wish Hendriks to eat his hat (I DID warn him, but noooo, he wouldn't listen!), but farming does not denote that your everyday guy can do it. It just means that people can use it to reliably succeed and cash in. That does not extend to the meaning that everyone should be able to do this.

Well according to some, Paladin is an hypocritical Noob, so they should be able to do the same very easily D:

Yeah that's true, I just have seen some really bad cases of 20 missiles being used and still objective not done... >.<

I guess this means who got demolisher should enjoy the char while it lasts...
That was my assumption when I first heard about it, but honestly I think the character kind of sucks outside of camping situations. It's weak and only has the grenades to rely on. When you're moving you're more reliant on your gun, but have no bonuses and are squishy. The arc grenades being weaker than the quarian version doesn't help. Basically you get great burst damage while sacrificing versatility (especially compared to any other engineer).
Like several other characters, it's overpowered on low difficulty, solid
when planned around, and sucks when you're in a higher leveled random
game. I don't see it getting nerfed just because it's the best character for camping - that's the whole point of it.
