Though breaking them up is hysterical, and almost worth not getting the stupid book. Except that by breaking them up, you lose Varathorn, the merchant, and his endless supply of elfroots, deathroots, mushrooms, and toxin extracts. But I always go the breakup route once just for ****s and giggles before reloading it.
