Dexter - "Thanks for the talk, Sylvia - truly, the pleasure was all mine."
You notice the smile she's wearing as she turns away. Incidentally, you're wearing one as well... staring downwards, you notice the now lukewarm bread rolls lined up for the delights of rumination. Let the feast begin.
The feast is done, and Sylvia's left already. What would you like to do now?
(1) Check Back at the Dorm.
(2) Go to the local Bar.
(3) Explore Somewhere Else(Pick a Location)
(4) Try a song on your iPod.
(5) Create your own Choice.

You decide to take your leave to the dorm. Before you do, however, you head to the nearby dispenser of newspapers by the cafe's exterior. Tossing in change left in your pocket, the machine opens and you grab a small stack. Most of it seems to be your typical fluff pieces about preparing for campus life and the like. However, one article grabs your attention:
The implications are a bit unnerving - you'd never heard about issues with criminal activity regarding EU until now. With the taste of distress on your mind, you head back to the dormitory.
The once vacant dorm room is now filled with a scattered set of boxes and a family you've never met in your life. The one handling the boxes is clearly the son of the 2 parents. Greatly outsizing you by 6 inches, this young man must've had a very tough time making his way through the hallways, not to mention arriving in the dorm room. He's wearing a Brown T-shirt with short hair to match the color.
Chris - "Hey there."
He places his hand outstretched for a handshake.
(1) Shake his hand.
(2) Take a step back.
(3) Do Nothing.
(4) Give him a very firm handshake.
(5) Create your own Choice.

You grip your hand onto his and give a firm shake.
Chris - "I Haven't seen the other two roommates yet, but they may be busy on campus. It's good to meet ya - This is my mom and dad."
Christopher motions his hands toward the middle-aged pair, standing nearby the empty desks inside your dorm room. You give a polite wave.
Chris - "Let me know if you need anything, I'm going to head out and try the grub over by the cafeteria with my parents."
(1) Inspect some of his belongings.
(2) Take a rest for a while.
(3) Put on the iPod and stare outside.
(4) Head on the computer.

After the last few hours spent in real life, now would be an apt opportunity for the relatively less intense alternative: virtual conversations. The blizzard forums don't sound quite as appealing, so you log onto the BioWare Social Network as Dex1994. You scour through the list of forums and look for one that would appeal to you.

You click on the topic entitled "OHAI GUYS". The topic is revealed to have a spam image, followed by responses along the lines of"0/10" and "fail".
Moving on, you click on "Are New RPGs the wave of the future?"

Hey, everyone. I'd like to discuss where RPGs came from, and where they're going now. Back in my day, we followed 2nd edition D&D rules, GURPS, and systems that were filled with depth and wonder. What happened? Somewhere along the lines, the term "RPG" got muddled with seemingly every genre there is. Sports? Oh Yeah. Shooters? I'm looking at you, Mass Effect. You want to take a step forward, BioWare? Take a step back. Remember your roots with games that would make me look up amongst the stars, where hamsters are giants, and men become legends.
This direction has me tearing my hair out non-stop, BioWare. I may keep buying these games for some reason, but I will not back down with my message. A message of hope, for the dawning of a new era for Role-Playing games. Thank you, everyone.
~~~~~~~~
The responses go on for a while in somewhat heated debate, but nothing unanimous can be agreed upon.
