Choice 1. Mary-Kate and Ashley: Sweet 16

Apparently not available.

Dexter - "I've heard good things about Red Dead Redemption, and it's apparently a very long one, too. I think I'll be taking that one. Both Uncharted games is a bargain, so may as well. Thanks for the help."

A genuine smile grows on her face.

Ashley - "Glad to be of help. Anything else?"

(1) "What got you into video games, ashley?"
(2) "Having luck surviving the storm of customers?"
(3) "Until next time, ashley. Farewell."
(4) Create your own choice.

4. Were you genuinely trying to sell me Dragon Age ][ for 30 bucks? Kinda mean of you.
(said in a calm, good-willing, maybe joking voice)

^^ You're waiting for this game to be turned into a chaotic mess by BSN, aren't you just?

Yup. I don't see the point. Seems rather childish.

Just trying to liven the story up a bit, unless you plan on making Dexter try to cop a feel of Ashley I just dont find flirting with the Gamestop girl very interesting.

Edit: Whoops meant the FYE store girl, what a silly mistake

^^ Aah, alright then. :)

Still, making the main character go in jail would just end it.
And this is exactly what would happen in a game that takes itself even half seriously, eg in the inspirational material that is Planescape and Arcanum. It would show "Game over" (which wouldn't be nice now would it?).

His answer is still taking the game seriously. It's leaning highly towards resisting authority, but it's a fair answer.

Dexter - "Having luck surviving the storm of customers?"

Ashley - "Oh, we'll be fine. I've seen far worse than this in some time, though I wasn't working at this store specifically."

Dexter - "I see...one other thing. Were you really going to have me buy Dragon Age 2?"

Ashley gives a look of slight embarassment, and walks slowly toward you. She begins to speak in a hushed whisper...

Ashley - "I'll level with you - I'm pretty sure that game copy has been there since I was employed, and I've been here for about a year. I'm just trying to do my job, that's all."

Taking the games in hand, you pass by the register without paying and walk through the exit. Naturally, the magnetic detectors have gone off. One of the employees passes next to you.

(1) "Sorry about that, I don't know what I was thinking. I'll head back to the register."

wn Choice.

Yeah, forgot about the whole theme of the game. :)
Though still, it seems a rather stupid thing to do (running from a used games' shop next to your campus) - even if in a game. :)

@Gandalf - Haha. Dex might just be a master in self-ironic or sarcastic behavior. Situational humor if you may.

Also, lol at Confess-a-bear.

There's a key difference between livening up a narrative, and completely breaking logic itself. FYE employees likely get a discount either way, and you just took a relatively cheap game that with a discount, would likely go for around $10. Dexter wouldn't attempt a bribe while being visible by the other FYE employees and customers due to the detectors going off. You can't bribe someone in clear sight of other forms of authority. Even if you could, no employee would risk their job over a dirt cheap game during a very busy time for their store. That's an awful lot of witnesses. I'm sorry, but the answer to that one is no.

Aww, but just because it is a bad idea doesnt mean Dexter cant try it, and just because Dexter tries it doesnt mean that it has to work.

Dexter - "Sorry about that, I don't know what I was thinking. I'll head back to the register."

After paying for both games, you're down to $160 on your debit card.

Go watch a movie. The premiere of Dark Knight Rises for example.

Whilst exploring the rest of the mall, you happen to notice the in-mall theatre is having a showing in 15 minutes for The Dark Knight Rises. Obtaining one of the last admission tickets from the local booth, you head inside and eagerly await the showing to come. Despite what you'd read off of BSN's topic thread on it, the movie is all you wanted and more. By the first 10 minutes, the well-written drama and top-notch action scenes have you holding firmly on the rigid mahogany seat. By the time the end credits begin to appear, you find yourself, along with the rest of the crowd, applauding in glorious unison. You exit the theatre and find yourself back whence you began, albeit with a stronger feeling of satisfaction. Nearing 10 PM, the mall is about to close.

3. -  Stay in the mall.
Oh I'm so very resisting authority (asi in the lawmaking of the mall - and the urge to sleep, apparently).

~Your Alignment has moved towards Resisting Authority~

Despite the fact that your mind and body desperately need the proper sleep for your first day in college, you decide to throw your problems out the window and live a little. The rusty grey barriers begin to come down. The lights start to flicker off, one-by-one. The announcement that the mall is closing in 5 minutes commenced...5 minutes ago.
