I'm so happy to finally have a plethora of ammo mods... I was perpetually out of them when all I got was character cards... I use them every match too. I save my level IVs for Platinum exclusively, especially Armor Piercing ammo, Disruptor Ammo and Cyclonic Modulators.
Gold wave 10 is rocket worthy IMO... 33k or whatever it is, is a decent chunk that I don't want to jeopoardize by being cheap with highly replaceable rockets.
Krysae GI is good on Platinum... but the biggest difference maker in Platinum IMO... the good ole' Salarian Engineer. All he does is win... everytime. Been rocking him with Scorpion w/ Disruptor IV, tech bursting the shields off everything, keeping the mobs out of the camping spot, allowing us time to kill the Banshees that break the line. I was using the GPS, but I can actually kill significantly faster with the Scorpion and tech bursts, tanking with energy drain.

i think there should be a penalty for not being extracted ...
like unused consumables are removed from your stocks. (you didnt come back alive, so why should they stay with you?)
Lose the character? - might annoy some people into getting out alive if they have to level up again after failing to extract.
if thats too harsh; lose levels / xp?
and a penalty on your squads earnings for you not getting out ... that would make people a little more tight knit on the final wave.

Having your bonus items carry over only means people want to extract! I'd even say only those who make it get to keep their gear. Reward good players that *gasp* actually play the game!
Not extracting is not a full round..
That said, another idea I would like?
Bronze Extraction: Each player who successfully extracted gets a free Veteran Pack.
Silver Extraction: Each player who successfully extracted gets a free Spectre Pack OR Jumbo Equipment Pack at the end of the match.
Gold Extraction: Each player who successfully extracted gets a free Premium Spectre Pack OR Jumbo Equipment Pack at the end of the match.
Platinum Extraction: Each player who successfully extracted gets a free Premium Spectre Pack and Jumbo Equipment Pack.
It will make people actually play smart on extraction and use missiles against things like Phantoms/Banshees/Atlases.
The only problem is that BioWare will have to fix it so that if you get revived inside the circle or are inside the circle and go down at 0:00 you still count for Extraction, because otherwise that would just be silly.
This! I would love if this was implemented. That would definitely give me a hell of a lot more incentive to extract.

solo = 50 % chance to keep 1 of your 3 equipment - at random + 2.5% credit
partial = keep 1 equipment at random + 5% credit
ful =50% chance to keep 1 / 50% chance to keep 2 + 7.5% credit

PARTIAL EXTRACTION =

Squad bonus = + 5% credit
FULL EXTRACTION =
Soldiers standing bonus =
50% chance to keep 1 / 50% chance to keep 2 equipment at random
Squad bonus = + 7.5% credit

But I like this idea more and more. I think the % is a little wonky tho and just adds a hidden modifier.
Maybe have set values for each solo, partial and full for each difficulty? I honestly don't know what would be easier.
I think if you kept all 3 gear that would be too much, as you pointed out, but guaranteeing 1 is a great idea. 50% on others adds to the randomness that is ME MP.
1 issue though is sometimes people only use 1 piece a match and for this I say that the category is chosen at RANDOM. So if you dont have an ammo gear on and it get randomed you gain nothing? Gives incentive to suit up and it inversely deals with the influx of gear people will have from extracting more often. Why do ya think?

Be careful what you ask for maybe they will punish us for not extracting , like say ok don't extract half creds half $ not to team but if you die punished live. And don't extract punished...
