Except it does. Banshee down in 8 seconds flat. And that's not with all the assault rifle dmg equipment.


Yep.

I was able to almost kill 2 full health banshees (Second one was at 2 bars) in one magazine on my destroyer when I did have all the upgrades on it.

Keep in mind he has Typhoon X.

ultimate platinum "mechanics" suggest: gold difficulty, but put trooper/fodder executions back in. you drop, you get stomped

Would power damage up devastator mode damage?  Im not particularly good at headshots and most enemies on platinum dont have heads.  Maybe power damage is a better choice?  

For mods im thinking grenade capacity v.
Weapons : pirahna x > typhoon 1 i would guess?

How does grenade count work?  If you can fire 2 grenades for the price of one isnt that the better choice??

Power damage bonuses in the passive don't have any impact on Devastator Mode, but they do increase grenade damage, which is very nice.  I went with it over headshots.

The grenade count evo lets you fire five grenades per launch instead of three.  Each of the five do the specified damage and force.

EDIT:  You edited your post.  Take both the Typhoon and the Piranha.  Weight doesn't matter at all.

In all the solo runs I've seen a certain awareness of the spawn point.
Is there some guide, and a list of quantity/quality of enemies for each wave, at least until gold?

5 frags for the price of one instead of 3 or more damage on the 3 hmmm. 5 looks better on paper. Is there something about the spread of 5 that makes it less good?

Can you make a bandhee drop someone with either evolution or is the force and dmg evo better for that maybe?

This is a very interessting build for the grenade. Why are you choosing Rank 6: Damage over Count? When choosing Count, you can multiply your damage by 1.66 (5/3), it's a overall damage increase of 66% (if all grenades hit, I know). The damage evolution only increases total damage by about 33% (Damage before: 525, after: 700).
I take it that you chose Capacity over Damage because of Thermal clips. Correct?

I go Force & Damage all the way. Phantom Death Squads get staggered like crazy. I don't care about the damage, I have my Typhoon and Piranha for that. I just want the 'nades for staggers. 2500+ N is sweet.

actually it depends how do you use granades. If for many enemies, then yes, get two more. But then you won't be killing phantoms so fast at CQC, because those two extra granades can go "out of range", so in the end the damage can be lesser, when fighting 1 on 1.
