 I don't know if this is an old problem or not, but I recently purchased Dragon Age: Orgins Ultimate edition from Amazon and have been running it on my 2011 MacbookPro, and I believe that I've installed all the available patches.

The problem is that on the human noble orgin, arriving in Ostegar results in a blank screen. The subtitles work, the audio works, but the video doesn't work making the game virtually unlayable.

I've tried running it on widowed mode, playing around witht the screen resolution, but noting I can come up with seems to work so any appreciated input would be lovely.

Okay, it seems like its a problem with all the other orgins as well. I played them and every time I get to Ostegar the black screen problem repeats itself.
