So I unlocked the N7 Demolisher a couple hours ago and I'm finding it to be a decently fun class however there is one thing that is really irritating while playing it. People are hoarding my grenades!!!!

I know the Pylon is there to help the group but seriously I am literally having to race other grenade users to get any. Other classes use grenades mostly as a supplement, the Demolisher however uses them quite often. I'm not spamming my grenades by any means, and I have a cap of 8 but I still find myself running out. This one match I had an Asari Vanguard camping my Pylon for LIFT GRENADES!!! really? I kept moving the pylon to undisclosed areas so I would have grenades when I needed them but she kept finding them and camping them, I think she was trolling me. lol

In a nut shell, unless you are a demolisher, go to an ammo box if you need a grenade or two, otherwise leave the pylon for the class that focuses on grenades.

On a serious note, I understand your frustrations. But it's a support class. Do some supporting.

If you recast the pylon you'll get a couple of grenades when it is deployed. There are plenty of times even when you are running around the map that you could take a couple of seconds to stop and recast it to get a couple of quick grenades.

If you're so damn desperate for your grenades, just re-cast the pylon when no one is looking. It should immediately cough-up 1-2 grenades.

EDIT: I suppose if someone is purposely trolling your pylon for grenades, that's a little different.

That would work, except we have gernades that, speced right, can demolish entire spawns full of enemies and boss mobs too. We don't have any other powers besides those however, and if we run out of nades, its back to shooting mobs again with normal guns. Trust me, demolishers will get much better use out of their pylon's nades than any other class will.

lol, people are free to have my grenades, I was mostly annyoed by the vanguard camping them. I still love the class though, had a match with another demolisher and a justicar so we were sitting in a bubble with two pylons, fun times

It's not hard to remember which ammo crates have grenades nor is it hard to redeploy the pylon when you need grenades right away. I've not ran into this issue at all while playing my Demolisher and I actually prefer my team-mates to use my pylon instead of avoiding it because that's what its there for.

I normally set mine up in a place where a lot of fighting goes on but where it's inconvenient to run to a box, and I love setting it down to help during hacks.

Because this game is not at all about shooting guns? Just equip Harrier, you have a freaking portable ammo box :/

If you are having a hard time with people "stealing" your grenades I recommend not using the class when other people on your squad choose characters that use grenades as well. Great excuse to go try another one of the new characters.

Alas, I've been trying for the Slayer but he eludes me! the only other N7 I've got is the Fury and she is way too fragile for someone that mostly plays Vanguards

Speaking as a Demolisher...

Keep using my pylon. It's there for you.

Stand in that circle. It gives you a higher maximum shield--and weapon damage! It gives you ammo!

They could also be all up on your Pylon because they know it buffs sheilds and power or weapon damage (power is better for your class's grenades). I just played the new Vanguard and wrecked it standing by the Pylon and spamming the hell out of Biotic Slash.

I agree with the above.. he's probably sarcastic, but if someone said that... id say sure... as long as it works. I just assume if you put a pylon up its for whoever needs the,..... I. TRY. To leave the demolisher their grenades... but if I need them I grab them (sometimes by accident)...... and your statement about the demolisher putting them to better use..... one thing to say..... n7destroyer.... those multifrags are quite possibly the single most wonderful, useful grenade in the game.... huge damage in one spot if yer close ... giant carpet bomb from far away.... so if I'm playing destroyer and you're plying demolisher.... its best if you go for ammo boxes since you are considerably more mobile.... though like I said I'll use your pylon as last resort.... anywy what the heck bioware?? You give us a class that spawns grenades, but has no offensive powers besides grenade.... way to make an unsupportive support class....

Dude with the soldier turian and new n7 I sit next to your pylon and open fire on anything that moves with my shiny new Typhoon and it works well.

I suggest discussing the case with the team, escpecially on higher difficulties. We farmed geth today and I had new soldier with lev 1 grenades [cap 7] what I did was taking the other cover and leaving the 3 team mates around the pylon, so that they got the buff and the demolisher got the grenades which he had at levels 4-6 - that was optimal, cause my grenades were far weaker
