Use your thermal clip packs, it's faster than waiting for the grenades anyway.

I certainly have no intention of bugging Bioware to make it more convenient. Right now I spend my every waking moment terrified that a nerf is coming. I haven't been able to dominate with a character this much since the days of the Gethfiltrator (at the height of its power).

Anyway the game should some kind of XP bonus to this class based on the usage of Pylon. Also when I throw a "Homing Grenade" my "Arc Grenade" amount drops also and vise versa. Is this a bug or this is intended?
Not a bug. You have a total capacity, and training both is just a choice of how you wish to arm them and throw them. It kind of sucks though, it is misleading to spend points on it unless you already know this.

Keep using my pylon. It's there for you.
Stand in that circle. It gives you a higher maximum shield--and weapon damage! It gives you ammo!

Has anyone else had their Pylon attacked yet by a member of their team not realising it's there to help us out? Made me smile when someone attempt to gun mine down...

Ammo pops out every 10 seconds (roughly) and 2 grenades every 13 - 14 seconds. That does not mean you top off your 200+ round revenant because you are missing 5 bullets, that does not mean you throw 2 grenades onto the field as soon as you get them.

Actually demolisher = caster using grenades instead of biotics ....... She needs her pylon to survive and deal out damage.theillusiveman11 wrote...
Way to be a team player.
On a serious note, I understand your frustrations. But it's a support class. Do some supporting.

Okay, it is sometimes frustrating having people take "your" grenades, but you're playing as a support role. If you don't like that other people are using your equipment then move the Pylon away from them (would be extremely petty) or change the class you're playing as!
Actually, the rest of the team is there to support the demolisher. If they don't like it they can play a demolisher and put up their own pylon!!! They should stop being petty (and lazy) and run to the ammo box!!
The demolisher's only powers are grenades. So if people take her grenades they are denying her use of her powers.
Seriously though, you can redeploy your pylon to get a couple more grenades instantly.

If you spec right and everyone understands your role as a demolisher you will never run out of grenades. Think of the Demolisher like a biotic. Take the lightest weapon possible and spam lay that pylon. Every time you put it back down you get 2 more grenades. My pylon I can drop about every 4-5 seconds to get two more grenades. You should be camped on top of your pylon and not beside it. They won't get your grenades then. It sounds like you are moving way too much instead of holing up.
Also, if you hit a target with both grenades you get a burst if you spec'd bot grenades into DOTS. I found this out from forum users yesterday. I recommend using a homing missile first since they take time to travel. As soon as you cast it immediately chunk your Arc grenade. Instant fire explosion every time. By the time you throw those two grenades your pylon is recharged.

I'd prefer to swap out one of them for another power, such as Overload, instead of shared grenades -.-

Engineer = Support class, Supply Pylon = Moveable Ammo Box. The intended use is not for the demolisher to camp it and have an unlimited supply of grenades. Would be just a tad OP. I find it more effective for the team setting it up between two ammo boxes, and an area where the team can benefit from the shield. I believe the evo's for this class even says to support TEAM, not an individual. You should be on the move with your team and supporting them. Sheeeesh. I swear if most people didn't have unlimited ammo they would suck balls
I do understand where you are coming from and it sounds nice but really on a platinum everyone needs to take full advantage of their powers as an individual in order to be a great team player. I don't think that you have a great team by everyone not fully taking advantage of their character while helping eachother out. I wouldn't see any other characters holding back what they are capable of in a high end game yet everyone expects it from an engineer sometimes. I think that there is this idea that on high end games if you are all using a strategy of holing up in a room that you are camping and that is not the intention of the game designer. However I think that with Platinum the game designer developed it for the purpose of holding down an area and using these strategies to successfully do so. Like most characters I think this character was designed to be able to be played in different ways. A Fury character has 2-3 ways of successfully dropping tons of damage. So does the Demolisher and they are all viable and we should not call one spam. You could take a weapon like a harrier and sacrifice reload time. Then you could drop tons of rounds down field and have some decent grenade throws. You can spec. into dots and carry a no weight weapon and go strictly grenades all over the playing field in a barrage. You could also use your pylon and carry two heavy weapons. That's three strategies. They are all strategy but only one is most effective especially considering this character is not very durable. When taking damage and dropping rounds down field, it leaves her uncovered. When moving around as you say, that leaves her uncovered and also in need of deploying her pylon if needed after moving. That lends this class towards going strictly grenades. I would also use the term deployable ammo box as opposed to moveable ammo box. It gives off the idea that you are supposed to move it around. Deployable simply means I can lay it not only where I want but when I want.

Just keep recasting the pylon, it will give out 2 grenades each time instantly if you specced it that way. I sometimes recast it 3 times in a row to make sure the combat classes are stocked up. Because you know...support class and all. And if i am really in a bind , thermal clip. You should try that.

Support classes will unfortuantly be just that, a support class. I'm sure it's annoying and there will be times when I'll be annoyed with people taking stuff from the pylon, once I get that class too. But it's how it is.
However, someone sitting by it and basically trolling it, should stop. Learn to run for the crates and learn their location. It's what the rest of us grenades users have to do...

Don't play a support class if you don't want to play support?
Because this game is not at all about shooting guns? Just equip Harrier, you have a freaking portable ammo box :/
Also, recharge isn't a huge issue on the demolisher, it only affects how fast you can deply pylons, which for me isn't too often anyway. I equipped mine with a typhoon and a pirannha, she's a little wrecking crew.

I always use the typhoon or harrier with the demolisher so I don't mind sharing the grenades. But I did wonder about the two types of grenades. Is it worth it to have both types, and spec both for dot?
I saw posts saying that the homing grenades had poor travel time and accuracy so I did not put any points in there ( all arc grenades ). I have played several gold matches with only arc grenades so I know it works ok. But always looking for more damage, lol.
