yes, this social site is still in beta, It's slow, broken and unfinshed :D

Good job ! It's nice to see not only games can be poorly coded by profesionals....

We've seen this problem mainly on IE8. Do you still have the problem if you un-check the "Remember Me" box when logging in?

Jeff is right, that fixed the issue for me.

Except for those of us using Firefox who have had the same problem for quite a while now. :( And no, unchecking the box does not help me. http://social.biowar...-328624-1.html

It is a guy with the url for the logout php in his signature... I call it a hack... I'm on Firefox too. Msg'd a mod over 10 hours ago about it, it's easy to prove it. Posted a topic on Site Help, reported the guy, hope that works someday!

it's is not after every click... it happens only if you visited a thread where the guy posted something... and he spammed his sig in lots of threads today!

Yes, It does it either way.

The sig issue is not relevant to the problem for me. All I have to do is click on the forums navigation link at the top of the page and, presto! logged out again. Yes, this happens with firefox on my win7 home computer, or safari on my ipod. I don't use IE8 on anything. Checking or unchecking remember me boxes makes no difference.

Getting grumpy about this now. Wish the old forums were still allowed to live. They at least did not have this problem. :(

No. :(

Those of us suffering under this problem have been abandoned and forgotten. I believe that evil Chis may have had something to do with it. Apprently his chainmail bikini began to rust and the gaping holes exposed portions of anatomy that, well, let's just say that the web code monkeys are now on disability. Permanently.

Kinda like the forum login code ;)

(Sorry, it's either be ****y about it or try to maintain a warped sense of humor. I opted for the latter).

I haven't forgotten about the bug but we have had a lot of difficulty reproducing it. This issue has also popped up in a newer thread here:
Forced to log in over and over using IE......

I'm going to lock this thread so newer replies end up in the other thread and we can keep the information centralized.
