Patch 1.02a: the poison pill

After installing the patch:
- Wade's Superior Drakescale armor quest is broken. You do not receive superior drakescale gloves when you turn in the second set of scales.
- Load times are longer (hell-loo memory leak?)
- Weapon and armor graphics get "stuck" until reload (my character kept Helm of Honnleath equipped regardless of what I actually put on him, and when I tried to switch between the staff and the swords I had equipped, the staff graphic remained - my character was suddenly wielding a staff as if it was a sword.
Looks like the "patch" is more like the "pooch". As in, "screws the pooch".
Don't touch. Shame on EA QA.

I haven't even experienced the typical load time slow downs I usually get.
I even managed to royally pi$$ off Allister for -13.

3 - mem leak old issue yeah they should fix that. Although i never experienced overly long loading times. Like the 5 mins people are talking about.

Heh in consoles you get bugs that never get fixed! Hahaha
There are no srious bugs on consoles and they are indeed working on a patch to fix those but console bugs are just two achievements not unlocking and petty stuff like that that mostly doesn't mean squat. Overall DAO runs flawlessly on consoles. I've had 6 playthroughs without a single problem.

Hmmm.....that's why gaming on a PC is generally a very bad idea. You might want to consider getting this on a console and play without any problems.
...and just like that, he disqualifies himself from being taken seriously. Ever. You, my friend, are nuts. Now go back to your four buttons, two joysticks and two triggers.
I had given Wade gold long ago, it doesn't matter if you give him twenty gold for the superior suit or not. You get the same thing either way. Before 1.02a I got all three pieces (but decided to replay because I forgot to buy Felon's Coat beforehand). After 1.02, I only got the boots and the cuirass.
...anyone know a cheat code to add the gloves to the inventory, by the way?

So the game MADE you click on "download", then made you double click on the file, then click in install...Titius.Vibius wrote...
It duped me to patch and viola! weapons and armor are now constantly in place even if you are replacing them with other items. I had to reload just to fix it. OI BIOWARE what's with your patches? What???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, Bioware must really rock if they built mind control into all those little 1s and 0s!

Meh doing a double click instead of a single click is all too easy to do by accident. BioWare should be able to account for these kinds of simple and common mistakes.....but they can't so there you have it.
The PC version of the game is all too sensitive and easily broken if you as much as sneeze while it's running........and you're 50 feet away from the PC running it.

I'm irritated as hell! Did you know last night I don't know if it was a coincidence or something but somehow I accidentally bumped into my table and suddenly an error came up with Visual C++ what not and it hanged. I tried to do the same thing again and it froze again!
Its way sensitive man I tell you!
