Hi all,

I have tried (and failed) to get two different mics to work for multiplayer. Both have been tested over the normal party channel on X-Box 360 and are working fine.

But for ME it seems I can talk and be heard, but I can't hear other players. Either in the lobby or in game.

I couldn't find any sound options in any menu to help. Any suggestions?

Have you checked XBL privacy settings. If set to friends only then you won't hear people not on your FL. But they shouldn't be able to hear you either so..

Absolutely, check your privacy settings, as I'm almost positive that's the issue here. If the latter didn't work, Make sure that your NAT (Network Address Translation) is set to open. Stricted or moderate NAT 'can' cause problems with grouping, chatting et cetera. Rest assure that stricted or moderate NAT does not affect the speed of your network.

To check sign out of your profile and then go to network / test network on your main Xbox Dashboard. If it shows stricted or moderate you may want to go into your main modem and check if your UPnP is up, or update your firmware. Or as a last resort, open ports maunally.

This should keep you busy for a while with troubleshooting and hopefully you will resolve this quickly. Good luck.
