Waiting for more bug fixes/patches for ME3 before I get serious with the SP playtrhoughs. Playing MP in the meantime...

I started ME1 again a couple of days ago. EC left me somewhat satisfied, so I thought I'd go through from start to finish. Almost ready to move onto ME2.

As for multilplayer, well, I got bored with that months ago. I still hop on now and then, but I don't see myself spending any significant amount of time on there anymore.

Mostly multiplayer. I am working on getting a femshep sentinel through Mass Effect 2 and I still have probably 2 canned and ready to go characters for Mass Effect 3 but I am waiting for single player DLC to drop before importing. BioWare keeps dropping multiplayer content for me to unlock...

I honestly think I might be done, at least for a few months to a year. I think the final count for me is 7 playthroughs in ME1, 9 playthroughs in ME2, and 6 playthroughs in ME3. I'm playing the MP sometimes, but my main focus right now is on Dragon Age: Origins. Found the UE for 15 smackers.

Finishing up this playthrough, then waiting for the SP DLC before importing more characters.

I'm still jumping in and out of the multiplayer.

Is it THAT buggy for you? I never really had any major problems with the game

MP for now, replay the series after a few SP DLCs are released (beyond just Leviathan hopefully).

Hard to consider ME3 alone without considering the trilogy even if MP is funny.

Hey. Thanks for all your input. Keep it coming.

I haven't played all classes yet. First run was a Soldier class with MaleShep and the second run was with the FemShep. Liked the female version better, tried Vanguard and loved it. After that I started building up a character type with the Adept and stuck with it. Loved the Renegade, tried the Paragon, but preferred the Paragade. But I have to admit that I don't get on with ME3 for various reasons. The major gripe is MP. It grinds my preferred style of playing ME to a complete halt, no matter how I try. The interference of MultiPlayer just makes it such a chore. Don't get me wrong, I have played MuliPlayer and I did enjoy it to a point. It just stifles my SinglePlayer so much and not for the first time do I wish that MultiPlayer was a separate choice .

Oh well, I just have to bite the bullet and decide what to do. Two brilliant games out of three is better than none. Time will tell.

You don't need to play multiplayer to get the best possible ending.
All it affects is your galactic readiness which is nothing more than a number on a screen.

Multiplayer can be completly ignored. It's just a feature you can use or not use. You don't have to go online. You can focus entirely with single player. If you don't want invites to appear whilst you're playing single player, switch off your router (or whatever enables you to use the internet).

I play both. I play the trilogy because I love the sense of adventure and the thrill of combat and I play ME3 multiplayer because I just love killing things. I can't help myself.

Download the Mass Effect Datapad option if you don't want to play multiplayer. You can get your 100% rating from your phone :)

I'm currently working my way through Mass Effect again. I'm a perfectionist so I'm going for a full level 60 character with every single side-quest objective complete but it's starting to wear thin after having played through the game a dozen times already. I'm only on Feros on my first of probably four playthroughs of the game to get my character ready and I'm already procrastinating for weeks at a time.

This is going to take a while. The Xbox 360 version of the game needs an efficient levelling glitch to take advantage of - something of pre-patch Dragon Age II fetch quest or Skyrim Oghma Infinium quality.

Has your pure love of interacting with the true game play and values of the Mass Effect Universe stood the test of time or has it been diminished?

How often do you still play all variations of Shepard and his/her love interests in ME 1 and ME 2 ?
Has the Mass Effect Universe been killed by Multi Player ME 3 or is it still intact for you ?

Are you indeed still playing the games or just using the multi player facility ?

(Please keep it civil, no name calling, no pictures a.s.o. - there is enough out there already; just your true feelings about your past and present enjoyment of playing the Mass Effect Universe in all.)

Im still playing Mass Effect 1 and ME2. I have about 5 FemShepards there. I lost interest ( and fun) in ME3 ( played it twice before EC and once after) , I also don't want to play Multiplayer, or any SP DLC so looks like third part of Trilogy will collect dust somewhere on the shelf

As I mentioned earlier on the problem with ME3 is not just the MultiPlayer. I don't have problems with getting invites to matches. Quite the opposite, I had fun and met very nice people on-line. No need to give me kind advice on technicalities. It is more of a creative enjoyment inhibitor that the whole game screams MultiPlayer at me for most of the time through out. The heart and soul has been sucked out the game play in ME3. I am very happy for people who love ME3, but to me it is just another button basher herding me very deliberately into one direction. I loved the "choices and freedom" playing around in ME1 and ME2. It is of course very naive to think one has choices and freedom in a game, because to a certain extend even a good game is linear and restricted. But to give your gamer the illusion of freedom to expand their imagination with your creation is the real art at heart. And that has been amputated in ME3 (for me personally, if you like it that way, than good for you). I can't find the enthusiasm to play it like the first two installments. To me it feels like a control-freak has been set loose and ripped off the control rudder completely and that is just not a good thing.

I haven't played in a long time, only because I've been busy with real life stuff but if I had the time... I would definitely play the story mode plus multiplayer.

Also, I think I'd rather play ME3 again over ME1 despite all the controversy.

Currently playing through ME1 again, but mixed with playing Skyrim and other games. I've got no problem replaying ME1 and 2, but I'm holding off on 3 for some SP DLC.

Never got sick of 2 and I've played through it 4 to 5 times and still want to go through again.

I recently did another playthrough from ME1 to ME3 in preperation for the EC. It was a blast going through 1 and 2. ME3 was an ok playthrough. EC made the endings more bearable and answered a few of my questions but it doesn't scream replay me as loud as the other two. That is just me though.

Only playing the trilogy. Still have many different scenarios to play. Haven't touched mp or care to.
