Finance...they'd gain shedloads from an IT DLC...
No they wouldn't. Only a part of the most hardcore fanbase wants IT DLC. The rest wants to move on finally.
Not to mention that they would never spend months and millions of $ just to polish the fake/trick 'dream'/hallucination, especially after how big and damaging the entire controversy was. Time to face the reality. This is what they intended.
Haha, you don't get it do you? The hardcor fanbase would all buy the DLC. It's Mass Effect. Just because you don't agree with IT doesn't mean a lot of people who think the same wouldn't be interested in buying a DLC.
The hardcore fans are the ones who spend the most money on ME anyway; they buy books, comics, figures etc. it'd make sense to keep them interested

They would. The controversy is over, people have settled after the EC. The IT being released in the future would shock people, get people talking again, people would go back and buy the ME games...more money. "FAce reality, this is what they intended" <-- That's pretty dismissive and you're talking in definites even though you don't know for certain.
I'm talking in opinions and views, you're being quite dismissive.

Are you used to getting everything your own way, Shepdog?
When someone disagrees with you do you get upset and throw a hissy? (No need to answer that, we all know that's true)
Again and again, you continually throw out remarks like that towards me, when I have done nothing specifically inflammatory towards you. I am simply requesting Bioware to move the IT thread to its rightful place. I don't want it locked or removed from society or anything like that. If they choose not to that's Bioware's prerogative, but there's no need to tell me I'm "throwing a hissy" for simply making a simple and logical request.
You have insulted me by calling the IT a fanfic. It's "rightful" place is at the to of the story and campaign discussion forum...where it is! You're throwing a hissy fit, it's not logical either
