Xbox LIVE player here, I've always enjoyed playing with randoms. There were a few bad apples here and there, but overall it wasn't that bad. Lately it's been extremely difficult to find a team that I won't end up having to carry because they use all their medi-gel before the end of wave five or just flat out aren't team players. I hate to generalize, but I can count the number of randoms that have actually been helpful on one hand.
I'm guessing this seems to be happening because players are playing Gold before they're ready. Or maybe my luck has been bad the past week.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Seriously, if you go into a match expecting to carry the team, you'll either get the satisfaction of being right, or be pleasantly surprised - either way, it's a win.

Xbox here too. I agree, even silver has been rough due to no teamwork. Last night I even had to complete the hack circle on my own on Giant because the 3 other jerks wouldn't come down. Makes those hack circles a little bit more difficult with 4x the length. I'm not sure what's going on.

It really is hit or miss. I played a couple of games last night in which I feel like I spent most of my time reviving and getting killed because I wasn't as focused on the enemy (due to focusing on revives). I seriously wanted to stop reviving, but I hate having to attempt to solo. If I wanted to solo, then I'd solo.

I have my off days, but it's never so bad where I keep dying. The amount of dying happening yesterday was ridiculous. I feel bad for one guy who ended up carrying everyone after I got killed trying to revive two of my teammates.

I play with friends on serious sessions but I mostly play with randoms to meet new people and see different play styles. Had to carry sometimes but there was fun in the challenge.

Lately (after Broadside) there are just TOO MANY should-be silver players on Gold. It's really had became too difficult to enjoy . If not that, it's that so many are missile glitching.

I just hope the new gold player get better and used to what gold takes soon....

I still cannot find a match on Platinum that isn't on White and/or have missile glitchers. Although it is humorous to watch glitchers die on wave 2.

Randoms on Gold seem particularly bad at the moment. Is it just me, or were they at least a little better like a month ago?

Sometimes you win sometimes you don't.
I jumped in a Platinum PUG last night. We completed 4 extractions one after another. Two players did not have mics.
On the other hand this a.m. I played a PUG gold and despite all efforts we never made it out of wave 6.

Wait, people still play gold now that platinum is out?

Randoms are so freaking bad right now, of all the randoms me and my friend played with yesterday there was only one who could actually be an asset to the team. He knew what he was doing with the Fury and playing Cerberus on Platinum worked really well for him with that class, all other players = complete rubbish!

If you're playing with us Randoms, technically you're a Random too (to me, at least). In the relatively few Gold games I've played (all as a Random), I've only seen a few "veteren" player who impressed me. The rest just think they're good because they've watched some Youtube videos and have higher level gear. Frankly, I'm tired of all the whining. If you don't want to play with us Randoms, choose a Private game and go play with yourselves.

Yeah, the situation is pretty bad right now. To the point I don't even want to play MP anymore.
