to the OP: What you're experiencing is called "player's ruin". When you 'lose', things tend to go that way for a while. It's the reason Casinos never fail.

But YOU WILL find good people in public again! I just had the best time ever with these under-100 N7s who took me for four consecutive silver matches. All won (which is no small deal on public silver).

My personal favorite was some random yelling at me to keep my decoy in front of the team, claiming I sucked. Just one issue... he kept running of the camping ground. This was on White and he insisted on sticking by the staircase whereas the rest of us were in the back of the room. Naturally, he died yet somehow this was my fault when the decoy worked perfectly fine for everyone else.

The weekend event made some people bold when they REALLY shouldn't have been, I suspect. I think a new difficulty level has had a similar effect, since a bunch of people want to try it to see what the fuss is about. Was placed into a mission in progress with 3 people with N7 < 100. Since the LZ was already bad, my screen started on healthgate, and in the 12 seconds I had before dying, I got to the top of the scoreboard. ****ing wave 1 wipes... awful.

Last night, London, reaper, silver.

Two destroyer, a GE and a shadow. I go upper left level, one of the stairs, pilon, the other destroyer in the middle, the geth on the other side.

Wave1

The shadow charge, slash a cannibal and it is mowed down. I think if I let him dye so he can see what we are doing but he pop a medigel.

Charge again, kill one mock and is mowed down.

Medigel II

Charge again and die again...

Medigel III...

..... Charge to the last enemy ..... Die bloody again before we can kill the thing...

He left....

We completed happily silver in three...

Its like a sea of bad hit upon the DLC release... yesterday was weird. Earlier in the day, disaster upon disaster, even tried Silver and it was just plain BAD PUGs. Then later on I had a great run with a bunch of random Gold games in a row, didn't even have to use rockets and hardly any medi-gel.

No interest of trying Platinum PUGs yet... the teams I've seen in lobbies will result in Wave 1 wipes.

Personally I've never had that problem in PUG's, but I may just be lucky
