Sup.

I've been loving every minute of this game -- every lot of minutes, actually, I play too much. Anywho playing through on hard I've finally reached the Landsmeet, and I'm having a wierd problem. When the votes are cast, I come out ahead with 4 on 2. Loghain declares victory and sentences me to execution, and I have to fight a bunch of people. When I win the fight, I have to duel Loghain and he is *invincible*. I'm convinced it's a bug of some sort for a couple of reasons:

1. I win the vote, but I don't win the landsmeet? That can't be right.

2. In the duel, some of my spells fail to cast at all, notably Fire Blast.

3. When I CAN get a spell off, it is resisted without fail.

4. When I tried to refuse to duel, Alistair started a fight (which might be built in, I'm not sure -- haven't been reading any guides)

5. My character is arcane with good boosts wearing Armor of the Legion, and Loghain carves through her like a semi-truck through a wax museum. I really don't lose THAT badly, like, ever.


When I came on to see if there was a reported bug, I saw that other people were encountering an invincible loghain as well, so maybe this isn't just me? Or maybe I just suck, and I have to reconsider my life as a videogame pro after all.

I had a savefile from before starting the whole Landsmeet process, and I've reloaded it and started back from later on in the Alienage quests, but.... it's a pain in the butt, ya know? Am I the only guy getting this?
