Dear all,
From the start and through the game, I used a Beregost-mansion to stack all my loot (scrolls, potions etc) which I didnt sell for later use on more appropriate battles or situations.
I just entered the City of Baldurs Gate, just before I will talk to Scar about Duke Eltan. As far as I know, after starting this, I won't be able to go back to -for example- Durlags Tower which I still have to finish. (and ofcourse, Beregost, my stash-mansion !)
With not being able to go back outside of Baldurs Gate City after talking to Duke Eltan, can anyone give a good tip what mansion I can use in Baldurs Gate City to move my gear from Beregost ?

There's no restriction on travelling outside the city, so you can still keep your things in Beregost if you want. If you do want another location then any container will do, whether inside or outside.

Probably I misread something in another walkthrough*
* about using a walkthrough;
I dont use any spoilers, there I played the game so often, but never got to finish it. Last time I encountered a strange bug when going back to Candlekeep: the amount of Guards to take me in to custidy piled up to about 100 !!! Once I got into prison, no-one came to get me out ...
