Im not talking alot of money but more then usual for starting. its not an exploit really i dont think so.  Ok when in ostagar after getting the darkspawn  blood but BEFOR handing in the quest .Take everything off the other recrutes
and keep wehats better then yours for you asnd alister  and sell the stuff.You can also do this the  the mage you meet that helps you first . Just right before going through the last door to light the fire take everything off him.  Oh and also you know the forced fights where you cant pick pocket them .it just puts you into the cut scene. Well you can pick pocket during the fight  and get more stuff then  you usualy do from just looting their bodies. hope this helps i did for me

You realise you get their loot regardless? Any party member who dies instantly has their gear transferred to your inventory.

oh maybe with the two joining guys.but . You do get an extra sword from joby though  doing it my way .well the pickpocket thing might help some though

Pickpocketing always helps, yes. For those that haven't strip Jory, or give him the noble clothing right before the joining, epic.

well i just tried and took your advice to see and your wrong about the mage and guard that help you

lite the fire.you are knockedout. And come to in flemiths house. but you do not get anything from either the mage or the guard .so it is best to strip both before going to the top floor door. you end up with 9 extra items to sell .

I just played a rogue dwarven commoner, and from ostagar to lothering I made 25 gold just pickpocketing and stealing and selling arrows.

Edit, Ostagar should be Orzammar.

If Duncan had survived all future Joinings would have been underwear party's.

lol you guys are cracking me up .but probibly right asbout allister oh and like i said even thought you take jorys sword he is given another one so he can pull it out at the joining so you get two of them .lol and dont forget in forced battles  you can get extra stuff pickpocketing during the fight . i kind of prolong the fights and try to get them all its tough some times the first on i pick pocket i sick everyone on him  and so on i even pull my guys off send them away just because the darn cooldown on the pickpocketing

so what did you end up killing all of them .oh nvm i really need to finish my first playthrough lol well its more like im doing multiple first playthroughs i made like 6 saves at the start and am trying to get all 6 endings the first time around so im kind of playing 6 games at the same time
