Jessica and I are thinking of taking a trip to Cologne/Koln Germany to meet our fans at Gamescom August 16-19.

Is anyone here on the BSN planning to be there who'd want to meet and talk to us about BioWare and Dragon Age?

I also have some tickets to the exclusive Community party on Saturday night. If you are legal age to have a few adult beverages and want to hang out with our team and otehr community fans, please send me a PM and I'll see if I can get you on the list. I only have a few spots left available, so let me know ASAP

Oh man, I'd love to. Shame about the whole living-in-Florida thing. Have fun over there, Chris. Germany rocks.

Yes, I'll definitely be there and of course I would like to meet the two of you (and any other BW employee who might be there) :-)

You guys should really come someplace closer to where I live. Somewhere in the UP of Michigan.

Can't, but I'd love it if you two brought me some swag from there. :) (For some reason, I want to spend ~2 years living/working in Germany. I don't know why. Scotland and Australia are on that list, too.)

That's so unfair! There I thought it would finally be an advantage to live in Germany. You know, every big event seems to take place in America. But now you will come here and I am on a damn classtrip! That's just cruel!<_<

But I hope you will have a nice stay here!:)

(Please excuse my terrible english.)

Are you gonna announce Dragon Age 3? No? Don't care then.

I remember beeing there on press-day and standing alone in the DA:O both do get down an dirty with the game, gabbing everything the poor man at the front sat on and then went inside the ME 2 both just for kicks. Those where the times.

Right now Bioware has nothing announced that would make me visit them and I can just live without debating about the current state of things, seeing as it does not bare fruits anyway.

I will be there, maybe I stroll by.

If you guys are just "thinking of taking a trip" does that mean there isn't going to be an official Bioware presence, and hence no type of announcement or official info release?

:crying:

Don't tell me that all I have to look forward to from that event is the official cinematic premier of the next WoW expansion :(. I mean, I love WoW and all, but I'm not exactly starving for information on that front (unlike with DA).

Oh well. Have fun guys! <3

Of course I'm there, but then again I live near Cologne, so it's around the corner for me.

I enjoyed the DA/ME panels last year, I guess this year it's more of an unofficial presence? Regardless, I'd like to meet you guys. However, it's unlikely I'm there all days, so if you could offer a specific date and place, I'd make sure to be there.

I would like to say yes, but there is a continent or two and a few oceans travel to get there plus I cant get time off work for that period of time.

We're contemplating Eurogamer and MCM Expo also, at the very least I'll be attending to take cosplay pictures :-).

Can't you guys come meet your fans in Norway? In my apartment, specifically. I'd serve you tea and cookies and virgin sacrifices.

Yeah, I'll be there. I'm planning on going to Berlin anyway to get my german and american passport renewed. Might as well just expand my plans and get a hotel room in Köln if I'm gonna be traveling anyway.

When do you think you would make an announcement re: MCM Expo? It would definitely sway me one way or another if I thought there was going to be a DA presence there. :)

I'll be there, because I wanted to talk about my fears concerning DA3 with some of you in person ;) On which night does your party take place? Haven't decided yet, which day I will chose to visit...

Yeah, it's been a while since I was in Germany (over 20 years now, yeesh).  I just remember that I went on a 10k Volksmarch in October when I must have been, jeez, 9 or 10, and when the weather turned cold nobody thought twice about offering me gluvein or schnapps.  Not a LOT of schnapps, mind you, and most of the alcohol evaporates out of gluvein in the mulling process, but even the restaurant we went to later didn't blink.
