Well, I sure kill a lot of enemies with it, so what's the problem? I'm an Adept, so it's only for when my powers are recharging anyways.

Do you have other guns that could put you at a good cool down other than the Avenger?  Because like you said, you are playing an adept, the cool down is the important part, guns are there for the in between time.  There are a lot of good pistols out there that have more respect.  I'm not talking about just rares either.  That's right, packing a Phalynx might get you through the lobby stage (Given you have/ like the gun).  All of that said, buy recruit packs to get your Avenger up to X quickly so that the level isn't an issue.  Next, people who kick adepts based on their guns need to think about that a little bit harder before they act.  Frankly, they were likely not worth playing with, as some randoms are.

There's your problem. That might fly in some Gold Matches, but most people shun the starting weapons. In addition, why do you have it at Level VII? Buy some damn recruit packs; seeing a starting weapon is one thing, but one that's not even at level X is enough to instantly appear bad to most experienced players. Whether it works for you doesn't make a difference; most people see it as an inferior weapon, so expect kicks for that kind of thing, sadly.

Also, stability damper is only really necessary on weapons like the Typhoon and Revenant. The Avenger has recoil, but with that thing you're actually going to make the recoil move down.

Enemy stat sheets compiled by communtiy members. MartialArtsSurfer has an excellent link in his signature, on page 3. Weapon stats, enemy stats, etc. Recommend saving that link - very useful.

Eh. There's been a few matches where I really wish I had a mic for the conversations. Most involved names I recognized from here on BSN though. Blind2Society and SR-71 off the top of my head.

I'm going to tell you something mate. Don't listen to any of us. Because there's no explaination to why they kicked you. My N7 rating is 330. Has been for ages. I got knocked into a Platinum game on wave 3 and when it was done I came in second. Got to the lobby, got kick. Why? Who knows?! They was on rating of 500 and the rest were over 2000. So yeah.

i can tell you from personal experience that, I've been kicked on gold runs do to my n7 ranking which is 150 and i am never promoting again, i ended the game already i don't see a point in promoting what-so-ever. I'm personally sick and tired of being the friggan salarian engineer all the blasted time on gold runs.

 As if all the people who ever play this game none of them have the friggan class. It's gotten to the point i want all other classes and characters removed from the game so everyone else is forced to feel my pain.
  I recently met a guy who got into this debate with me over n7 ranking and his justification of his being so high was that he basically enjoys leveling a new character and if he is already level 20 that it isn't fun. If he makes a mistake and power selection then he has to start all over again so why not just be level 1.

 My counter to that was "resets" they're nice to have I am personally terrible with pretty much any class that isn't a vanguard or an engineer. so it was a pain in the rump to get them all to level 20. and you are telling me i have to do this forever to get a high n7 ranking otherwise i will be kicked from games? even though i've been playing this mp since the game came out... i swear..... People who kick people based on n7 ranking is just silly.

It shouldn't be the case at all. Personally if im leading and i kick anyone its due to their level, if im running gold i want people to be 20. same as in platinum. I don't want any lvl 10's on a platinum run. that's dumb. i don't care how big your mighty n7 ranking is

Get at least Phalanx and only then start playing with adept on gold.
Oh and using consumables on platinum is courtesy to other players.

There's a lot of helpful guys on here. Their experience and knowledge will definetely improve your game. Don't give up on the tree because of some bad apples. Glad the Carnifex is working out for ya.

Lol wut? I don't need carrying. How can you tell I need carrying by looking at my manifest? All the rares I use are at leat lvl IV-VIII. And caster classes don't even need many of those weapons.

Promoters promote to try new things, all characters can be build in different ways for different playstyles, some of us just enjoy the ride a lot and like to mix it up.


And reespect cards are gold, no way I'm going to lose a weapon upgrade just to try something new.
