THIS IS how you use N7 Slayer effectively, other videos I've seen are too slow

This is similar to a build I'm working on. My big question is: Why increase Shield Damage on Phase Disruptor? Why not Armor? In my experience, Armor tends to be the biggest **** block to killing a boss, not it's Shields/Barrier?

I just don't like the N7 Slayer at all. I never had so much trouble with a character before. The way the character teleports gets me downed too much. I try to go to cover and instead the character goes through the cover to the other side. Too frustrating for me.

Big issue for me as well. Went for cover and blippped through it right in front of a few ravagers for a lousy down with no hope of revival.

The OP is good because trying to emulate that approach got me killed an awful lot.

I think he'd rather kill all of the smaller infantry faster and in groups? With this class, it seems you just leave the boss monsters for your teammates or kill them last.

This is why I spec'ed level 6 PD for shields.  It helps your team out more to yank those things off bosses.  It also helps you deal with the mid's and lows more quickly.  The added bonuse is you can basically explode phantoms in well played single BC rotation.

I went all PD since I HATE Biotic Slash. Such an unfun move, why did Bioware have to sour the new vanguard (and infiltrator) with it. Slayer is a lot more fun without it and PD is extra nice with multicapacitor V and fitness rank 5. I really only use it on Gold though.

imo www.youtube.com/watch   THAT is how you slayer..

that's my video =D

Right here, at 48 seconds! This is what drives me crazy about the Slayer! When the heavy melee works, it's glorious. But when it does that—where it does nothing and performs the attack in the air for no apparent reason—it drives me nuts.

Unless someone has some sort of explanation for what's going on there...

BS has its use and I'd still recommend taking it to 6 and sacrificing a little finess and N7.  However, it's not a spam win and players that rely on their power should stick to the Cerb classes.  I use BS sparingly, it does come in handy when you see a reave party and you want to make a huge BOOM.

This build is too much fun man. Thanks for getting me back into using the Slayer as I had given up on him.

PD to a Phantoms face = good times.
