Ok, I have to say "Captured!" has got to be the best quest in the game.
Mostly because of all the opportunity for hilaaaaaarious dialogue

So far my favorite pair to rescue me is Zev and Oghren.
I just can't get over that "I'm the pretty one" line -giggles-


I did choose to rescue myself once and convinved the guard to come in my cell and take off his clothes.
With Alistair in there with me.
That would have been interesting if I could have let it play out all the way.
But instead, we just ended up fighting naked

Anyway, what other options bring up good scenes?

I had Lel rescue me and do all the talking. It was hilarious as she prays for the souls of the guards who are going to wander the Fade for all eternity for not allowing her to administer to the condemned.

Leliana and your dog, I think this is due to who has the highest admiration or regard for your character. I got teary eyed when I saw those two. Shut up Alistair, you're a tool!

I mentioned this line in an Oghren dialogue thread yesterday; it's too precious.

Sten and Oghren are hilarious as rescuers, they couldnt bluff their way out of a paper bag and you get a sort of "sod this" comment very early in the rescue attempt when they try bluffing.

If you have done it already (rescue/escape) and don't mind watching some of the other combinations, again perhaps, I have quite a bunch of them in The Best Party,Final volume and Prison Break special...



Some viewers are said to be "in stitches" after watching them... specially because it might take a lot of reloads or some 20 runs to get them all in game! =)

first play i saved myself.. i felt so crappy about it.. after i heared about the great party dialogs if u let ppl rescue u.



second play i decided to let morrigan and oghren save me.... i can tell u, they suck in bluff but damn it made me laugh

Do NOT rely on Morrigan or Sten. x] Morrigan just states they're delivering something which the guards don't buy and Sten didn't even try to bluff, he just said "Bashidan (or however you spell it), this is pointless.", giving them both away to the guards and they attack.

Haha, yeah I picked him on my first time too. That was priceless. Especially as his opinion of you went down when you surrendered, but then got up by almost the same amount when he came to rescue you and threw that line.

One of those special moments where I felt my PC and Sten were completely on the same wavelength, in understanding of each other.

Tried Wynne, Morrigan, Leli, Zev and the Dog so far; guess I missed on funnier ones but I dont use them much lately.

What got me unprepared though was the last game when I rescued myself (and Alistair in tow as usual) and got disapproval from Leliana and approval from Zevran...... messed my romance rating once again.

This is what I did but damn it all. I'm going to see if I have a save that is close to the break out so I can see the party members save me instead.

Somehow the dog is one of the best bluffers in your party, go figure.
