Since installing Earth DLC I have repeated issues joining party games.  I can join public games just fine, but even that load time is slow (e.g. by the time I spawn, everyone's already half way-all the way to the other side of the map).

It is not my internet connection - there's another xbox 360 ME3 gamer (separate console) in the household who has the same number of hops to the router as I do and he connects without issues, whether both of us are on or not.

It does not appear to be my xbox as connectivity and load times for other multiplayer games are fine (AC2 - Revelations, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, etc).

The only thing I'm left to believe is that the DLC install has somehow gone bad.  Is anyone experiencing the same and is there a solution?

UPDATE - Ok, so I tested in 5 other games (Halo 2/3, Gears 2/3, Crysis2) and didn't have a single connection issue.  This, combined with the issue not starting until AFTER Earth DLC... I then deleted Earth and Extended cut (just in case my memory was incorrect and it had started just prior to Earth), downloaded and reinstalled both (in order, Cut then Earth).  Everything seems to be working fine now - I'm not getting the Waiting for other players prompts, my games aren't laggy, I don't randomly get disconnected from the ME3 servers, and it seems things (players/enemies/biotics/weapons) have stopped disappearing on me.  I'll do another day or so of tests before I call it fixed, but I figured you guys could give it a try.

UPDATE #2 - While my issue seems to remain fixed due to reinstalling DLC, it appears many of your issues have not.  As a result, I've renamed the topic so it will keep visibility on the forum.

Yeah i had the same thing happen the other day.The mission started and the enemies arrived but i could not see them but i was getting attacked by them,so i left and tried a new one.It loaded for a couple of minutes then pop me into a game already in progress.

Since Earth DLC I have also had issues with connectivity, notably being getting the "you have lost connection to mass effect servers" at least ten times a day at random points and for seemingly no reason. You can immediately jump straight back into any game again, but you've lost all progress and credits and equipment etc. It really is getting bloody annoying.

Since the Earth DLC I have had to reset my modem and router about twice daily in order to maintain a connection to the EA servers. I have been kicked from about 15 games now and I have finally had the Vanguard Biotic Charge glitch happen to me twice. Both times resulted in getting kicked and losing all credits.

My friend and I were playing a match with two randoms and he could no longer see me at all in his game. My character was not visible to him nor was I listed on his start screen. However I was killing things and reviving him in the match. He described it as "having a guardian angel" lol. While I can find humor in this I am still appalled at the sheer number of glitches that we have experienced in the last 4 or 5 days. For one whole match my N7 Slayer's Biotic Slash did no damage to enemies.

I have had Mass Effect 3 since March 8th. I have played the multiplayer enough to get to an N7 rating of 852. None of these glitches happened until I installed the Earth DLC. Of course, EA support can't do a thing about the lost credits or so they say. I am still pretty annoyed.

I had the same problem until I found out my ME3 game wasn't registered with my accounts. Double check to see if they are. If you still have problems then contact an admin.

Hope this helps. I'll be back in here though if Receive more disconnect errors, so far so good though.

My copy is registered. And it literally just happened again like 60 seconds ago. Bye, bye more gold credits....

Since Earth DLC I have also had issues with connectivity, getting the "you have lost connection to mass effect servers" 9 out of 10 times and that is only IF I can get into a game. I'll search for a game and nothing happens after several minutes. I've stopped adding gear because it's just wasting it, so I ask for a bronze game. I get dropped into games in progress, usually not bronze. One time I was dropped into a Platinum game with no gear. Good thing I lost connection quickly. I cannot play a private game, I get a notice of network error then no game. I tried re-installing but the problem persists. Very, very frustrating.

This was never an issue for me until the Earth DLC.

I know how you feel.  I'm quitting until this is addressed.  I've been dropped from EVERY match I've played in the last three nights, losing hundreds of thousands of credits.  Nothing like seeing 10 seconds to go on the extraction on Gold and seeing "You have lost connection..."  Well, there went 30 minutes for nothing.

I was having issues with this yesterday (to the point that I gave up playing for the night) and, after playing happily for a few hours, they have started up again today. On both occasions, it got to the point that I couldn't even load up the game, go into the multiplayer menu and select a character and some equipment (before even joining a lobby) and it kicked me out again.

I've been playing multiplayer since a week or so after the game's release and whilst I have been, on occasion, dumped out of games partway through due to losing connection, I've never had problems with staying connected to the servers on anything like this scale before last night.

I CANNOT finish a game. Since the DLC release (Earth), I have lost every connection to a server about halfway through the map (waves 7-9). I have not legitimately completed a map since.

FIX THIS.

Add me to the list of connection issues post-Earth DLC. Losing connections several times a day in all different ways - during a mission (lost connection a few seconds from full extraction while I was hosting. Boo), while joining a match, etc. I'm pretty sure I can see other people getting connection blips too because never before have so many people left matches mid-session, and it seems way more frequent that when joining a public match, the leader drops out of the lobby. I don't think I smell that bad!!

I've both trouble shooted myself to insure my connection was all good (and I'm hard wired!), router settings, etc. And even talked to both my ISP and Xbox support that I have optimum settings for connectivity.

I have that glitch too. Basically I start falling through the floor and/or ceiling. Sometimes I can't move, sometimes I can. I keep dying and coming back to life instantly. When I was krogran vanguard I could move by doing a heavy melee charge - when I got to the edge of the map my game crashed. It was cool at first but now it's so annoying I don't even bother playing as a vanguard any more despite it being my favourite class.

Yup - Then that's what I have. Wasn't sure it was specifically a Vanguard problem. Happened to me a bunch times, but I didn't remember if it always as Vanguard - I don't have the Krogan though - just human. I'll get into a hover state and start popping all around the map, and through the map. I can kind of use powers and weapons, but movement is spastic. Bummer. Vanguard is super fun. It only seems to be happening recently though - i.e. sometime after Earth DLC.

What generally happens with the Biotic Charge Glitch is that when you are are a split second from death you hit the biotic charge button to regain barriers. Instead of charging however, you will die and then your dead body will attempt to do the charge. This almost always happens when you are not the host and in my experience is almost always what triggers that glitch. Your character will not be in line with the level from there on and the condition continually degrades until you are either under the map or waaaaaayyyy over it. Powers are still usable but weapons are not.

Today I attempted to play... the main word being attempt. After the first game at 6am est, the game has been losing connections, whether in match or in lobby. I checked to see if its my internet connection, but it is not, there is no brown outs in my service. Currently hours into it and I have been disconnected 9 times, have been removed from games just before extraction...

At first I thought it might be the platform... but its not, draon age didn't disconnect, neither did any of the fighting games either... just this one... so I played a PvP shooter, no disconnects, no freezing of the screen midgame.. just this game, Mass Effect 3.

its your coding, its your patches which don't fix anything, its the people which you pay for quality assurance, because there is no quality in this...
hire new programmers, or reduce their pay... but this will not make me purchase another game from this company. Especially when some of us spend more time in here trying to find a fix for issues in this shoddy worksmanship

Well said. Overall, despite the many fine additions to this game, it has an overarching quality of being quite rushed in many aspects. None of it has the level of polish that we have grown to expect from Bioware. EA is concerned more with quarterly profits than producing quality work and long term fans. This is how video games die: to the sound of jingling pockets. Quite sad really.

For me it seems to be mostly confined to my gold matches. I'll get down to the last wave or two then randomly the host is gone, then I've lost my connection. Oddly enough silver and bronze seem to be a bit safer, I haven't tried platinum in the last week really to be sure. But it does seem to be a served oriented problem.

glad i'm not going crazy, so far today I've completed 1 game from start to finish, the others I've been kicked from mid game and had to rejoin (assuming i'm playing with friends and have an invite) but still lots of lost xp and credits

I'm having constant internet issues since the Earth DLC and I'm really getting tired of it. The load times seem to have more then tripled, I lose connection to games alot, latency is usually horrible, I've frozen 5 times in the past 3 days, and sometimes it kicks me off of the EA servers and won't let me rejoin them.

What is going on..?

I'm kinda surprised BioWare hasn't said anything yet. It's a major problem when you can't even connect to a game.
