Ever see The Princess Bride?

Yeah, that's the Stargazer scene.

There is no way a kid would listen to his grandpa for that long if technology were still around...
Unless that child was some sort of tiny full grown man...

Wow, I'm not sure if people in here are serious or not, but if you are all serious, then you guys are some of the worst fans here...

I've been here 2 years, but yeah, I usually don't post much.

Anyway, it is certainly not the worst ending, It's not what a lot of us wanted, certainly, but the ending shouldn't ruin a spectacular Trilogy. people here act like spoilt children, because the ending didnt please them, so they ahve thrown Mass Effect out of their pram, & act like it's garbage, when the game was fantastic, apart from the ending, which was a let down, yes, but by no means the worst ever.

Take a step back, & look at the bigger picture, the ME trilogy, It was brilliant, & you know it, otherwise you wouldn't be upset about the ending, it's why you care it dodn't please you. Just accept it, & love Mass Effect for wahat it is, & the joy it gave you through all 3 games, minus the ending.

The Stargazer is telling the kid one day he will go to the stars. They aren't in some galactic dark age, he's telling the kid about the wonders of the galaxy. Remember in ME1 how we all just marveled at the universe? The kid is experiencing the story of "the Shepard" just like we played/experienced it.

Also I swear the EC refusal has an asari stargazer....

I'll have to disagree. Mass Effect 3, especially it's ending, was so bad that it ruined the entire series for me. Sure it had some good points but they are far overshadowed by the bad.

Pre EC it was bad. Post EC its better than most games.

Don't let the extreme negativity get to you, these complainers are the loud minority

Exactly. I think of it like this: While everyone is lodly complaining about it, everyone else is quietly enjoying it. When my neighbours argue or fight, I hear them everytime, but when they are happy & content, I never hear them, same here, Most people are happy, & have no reason to be here complaining. I won't lie, I didn't love the ending either, But it wasn't terrible, or bad enough to stain the entire series.

Seriously, these complainers would tell you that Mass Effect 3 is a bad game

Kane and lynch 2
Mind Jack
Sonic riders
Big rigs racing
Duke Nukem forever
Green Lantern
Thor
Brink
Call of Juarez the Cartel
Ghost busters sanctum of slime
Man vs wild
Harry potter deathly hollow

Would like to educate these people about what *bad games* really look like

I like the Stargazer scene, I like the eerie it haves. Also I think that "One more story" means the other playthroughs one may have with the differences between them, so it's a different story each time.

Yes, one of the post EC endings has an Asari female in the stargazer scene.

What interested me about that, and i haven't seen much mention of it here, is calling Shepard "The Shepard." Hmm, food for more speculation...

He is merely some dude who lived during the Human-Reaper war and he experienced it and was telling his child about the person who saved them all. It doesn't have to mean anything more then that.

Bioware doesn't even know what the endings mean,

Stargazer, the breath scene, The Marix rip-off............

The endings are just various scenes lifted from movie endings that Mac thought were cool. Taken together they make no sense.

^^^^^^ Bioware has said repeatedly they don't want to tell us what they mean not that they don't know what they mean. They want us to figure it out for ourselves and explore. Same reason they refuse to kill IT, bc it means we can think it ended however we want. That to me was the reason the ending was like it was and why they refuse to change it.

Honestly in my opinion the whole scene is just very insulting not to mention how out of place it is to the series.

...slap in tha face

Stargazer is common ground between the endings that mass effect 4 can be built upon

essentially everyone gets the same ending. which is what bioware said wouldn't happen. then again they said lots of things so...

The Normandy couldn't have had many descendants without quickly resorting to incest.

Disturbing.

Well the crew's pretty large. I think if they made a flowchart they could organize a way for the crew to reproduce, and repopulate the planet with humans.

Crew is not pretty large. It was a skeleton crew caused by leaving Earth immediately.

And how many of the crew survived the battle and the crash is unknown (None go to the funeral, not even Copeland :()

Garrus, Tali, Liara and Edi all can't mate.

At best say you have 20 crewmen left (and even that is being generous) then you have to split them between men and women...

You only have a enough for a few generations at best.

I know that's what they say, I don't believe it.

They can't explain the endings - because they still don't make sense - so they've left it up to the player.

Creative incompetence, limited resources and a looming deadline all converged to create the speculative, unartistic, garbled mess we got.
