My favorite has been Cousland. I love getting married to Alistair and becoming his Queen! I haven't done the city elf. I did the Dalish elf and I didn't like it that much.

My favorite was Cousland too, but I ended up marrying Anora, keeping Leliana as a mistress, sparing Logahin and exiled Alistair. Please don't hate me Mayra, I know he's your boyfriend.

I love my human noble rogue Aedan (yeah I kept the default name because I thought it was cool). He married Alistair as well. 

I actually liked the magi origin. It was really cool to see all the lore from the perspective of the Circle Tower itself and how the mages are treated. I actually played Dragon Age 2 first, so to get Anders' and the Hawkes' perspectives on the mage-templar conflict and then go back to Ferelden was a trip.

Dalish elf origin was alright. I thought it was a little boring to be honest. I think the Dalish are one of the least fleshed-out factions/races in the DA universe, but I did think the Warden got a good insight into their culture during the werewolf campaign later in the game.

Dwarven noble was hilarious, one of the most well-done ones I think. Haven't done dwarven commoner or city elf yet.

I feel the closest to my human noble rogue. He's my canon Warden.

I love Alistair:wub::wub:    My first playthrough I didn't agree to the dirty deed and things ended tragically . The Dalish origin was kinda boring to me but the city elf one is really outstanding. I won't say anymore because I don't like spoiling things but if you were going to do another playthrough I would definitely consider the female city elf origin.

Now I want to play DA

@mayrabgood Yeah DAO is full of little twists like that...I couldn't bear anything going wrong (I learned my lesson when I went upstairs in Redcliffe Castle before going to the Circle Tower, thus triggering a certain plot-progressing cutscene) so I spoiled myself on Dragon Age wiki.

Aedan Cousland couldn't lose his Alistair.

Holden's probably modded it, if he's on PC, so his dreams can come true. We poor xbox users can't do that.

Aedan led Alistair to discover another side of himself...a type of love he had never really considered before meeting this humane, kind, intellectual, pragmatic, and dare I say ravishingly handsome nobleman! <3

PC version has mods for that . . . I think, probably.

I liked the mage story the best. My cousland was an evil bastard rogue, though it was kind of the most fun. I had Alistair executed with him. It was even more senselessly cruel since you can just let him go instead.

I only did it to see how it would effect the ending! Felt like a total bastard doing it too. The VA's delivery was great in that scene.

"How could you do this?!" Or something along those lines. Total backstab =/

He's taken by the King of Ferelden now though. 

Speaking of which, I really hope we get more involved with the Grey Wardens and maybe even see our Warden again in DA3. Do any of you frequent the DA2 forums? Are there any press releases or leaks about what we might expect? I sometimes visit there but it's mostly the same topics as two years ago it seems.

Never did it and never gonna do it. I'm never getting thr achievement for recruiting everyone but I don't care.

Cousland was my favorite too, this pic is my Cousland character, he was my first and favorite. I played rogue and hooked up Anora with Alistair to rule togehter (sorry Mayra). Leliana was my girl, much more interesting than Morrigan.
