[Hyperglide]

Hey guys. I post a lot in Off-Topic. Surprised there's not a thread in there for this. Good idea!

Here's me. Taken with a crappy iPhone.  About 2 months ago and looking scruffy.

That's why I want one!

But there are a few problems... first they aren't terribly reliable, second they need a special mechanic here in the states, and third the parts are hard to come by here since they don't sell them in the states.

BUT that adds to the excitement no?

Step 1: Get the URL to the actual image file (will have .jpeg, .png, or something like that on the end).
Step 2::Wrap the URL in image tags: (IMG) --> Replace rounded brackets with square ones. Make sure the one at the end finishes with (/IMG), once again replacing the brackets. 
Step 3: Horse!

I tweaked the quote to display your image.

Falcon, Revenant on anything with accuracy boosts, Claymore, GPS (my favourite!), Carni, Reegar, Piranha, Arc Pistol (another favourite), Harrier, Scorpion, Particle Rifle, Typhoon.

Hi there

Light Uncommon Weapons:
Mattock (if you've got a buff finger), Phaeston, Tempest & Viper are not bad.  Good for power based classes which need a short cooldown

Gold Weapons:
Claymore is fantastic.  If you can reload cancel effectively, this is a great gun

Piranha for close range, aggressive gameplay with a CQC character.

Geth Plasma Shotgun is powerful, great at all distances, and it has reliable stagger abilities.

Graal is a great fun, but latency dependant, gun.  Good if you are good at headshots.  This also staggers reliably.

Falcon is good for crowd control and applying ammo powers, such as disruptor rounds, etc.  Does not have a lot of punch, though

Hornet is a good, light SMG, but you have the Hurricane, which is arguably far better.

Acolyte is a great sidearm for stripping shields and barriers.


Ultra Rares:

Scorpion is good crowd control.  Aim at the feet.

Harrier is good at all levels, but is a little heavy and suffers from a small ammo capacity.

The Particle Rifle is a fantastic gun, especially when used with Incendiary ammo.

Try out the weapons and see what fits you best.  Pick the right one for whatever class and playstyle you feel like bringing to the game.

Good luck in Gold.  It's a big jump from Silver, but it's a lot of fun.  It helps if you have a good team to play with, too.  Learn to use cover a lot and be situationall aware.  Once you get over your jitters, you'll have more fun and will be able to control engagements a lot more easily.

For an easy transition to regular success in Gold, I would pair your Claymore with the Quarian Female or Salarian Infiltrators. Harrier on either of the Quarian Males, Batarian Soldier or N7 Demolisher (or anything, really). Once you get High Velocity Barrel for SMG and the SMG Recoil System leveled up, take the Hornet or Hurricane on Drell Adept. Carnifex is fine for him too, and is a good all-around weapon.

Try to buy more Veteran Packs so you can get Mattock, Raptor, Phalanx, Eviscerator and Tempest to X. All are good weapons that you can lean on until you get more rares and ultra-rares unlocked.

I think it can depend on how you like to play, is there a class you'd rather play as? Do you like to use powers or are you into guns guns guns? And which kinds of guns too!

Piercing mods are good for gold elite enemies combined with damage mods if you've got decent ranks in them.

I agree with a lot of people here about the claymore, it's satisfying to use! A smart choke makes it more satisfying too.
Your :devil:Graal Spike Thrower IX:devil: could be very fun (chargable weapon!) with dmg/armourpierce, I don't think a smart choke is necessary for that one.

i like to rock the mattock with incendiary ammo with my human engineer. I'm not sure how effective it is at level V, but it works best with a wicked fast trigger finger.
