Hehe awesome sword Heather!

Oh and it's only fitting that you be the Nomosaurus as I'm a Mayrasaurus haha :P

@ Kira - I wish I had a little jeep. I really don't have anything Jurassic Park related now that I think about it :(

@ SKiLLYWiLLY2 - Haha. That's one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

COME ON!!!

A lack of Heather would do away with us all!

Well, that might have been a bit too dramatic, but don't let one guy spoil the fun.

Jurassic Park! :D

I actually get a little teary eyed hearing this song haha :P

Jurassic Park is my favorite movie and the first movie that I ever saw in a movie theatre. My older brother took me and I couldn't stop talking about it after.

Also, when the ride first opened up at Universal Studios Hollywood, I was there during it's opening weekend. I stood in line for 4 hours. But before that, the ride had been closed for a few hours and I got so sad thinking i wasn't going to be able to ride it. And my brother's and sister got mad at me for choosing that day to go like if it were my fault the ride wasn't working.

My first movie in a theatre was a family comedy called Savannah Smiles back in '82.  I really don't remember it all that well, I was 4 at the time.  The more memorable one came with my second theatre movie in '83.  The Return of the Jedi.  At 5, I was already a big Star Wars fan having watched the first two on TV, and owning a handful of toys.

Heather, you gotta stick around. Don't let one comment sour it for you.

Mayra, I assume you've read the two Jurassic Park boooks now?

I think my first movie was Raiders of the Lost Ark. One of the few american movies shown at time. We had to leave the theatre right after I got hysterical from seeing Alfred Molina's forehear pierced by a spear... That's about 3-4 minutes after the opening shot...

I would totally buy that Jurassic Park jeep...

Not quite as cool as my dream souped up Toyota Celica painted like a snake with green scales, green headlights, and a mouth kinda like the old shark mouth thing from fighter jets on it.

Oh yeah... and green underglow neon.

Probably in the $80,000 upgrade range... but I will get it eventually.
When I am 40 probably and won't be cool anymore. :(

Maybe...

But if you are a hobo with a really nice car and no money for gas in the car because you spent all of your money on a car it doesn't make you cool.

Well, let's be honest, mate. As drummers, we both know the Celica is not the ideal tour car... No amount of tetris can compensate for the amount of room lacking...

The guitarist in my old band had a Celica and I remember how I had to carry half of his rig, cause it wouldn't all fit in the car...

And consider the fact that a broke drummer with the nice car WILL get the chicks anyway so its all good

They made two toy vehicles, the jeep and another one that I can't entirely remember what it was, but I don't have the second one. I'm also missing one of the human figures, the triceratops, and the brachiosaurus, but I otherwise have the entire original toyline. And to add onto that, I have somewhere around half of the second toyline. At this point, though, I shudder to think about the condition of my t-rex and stegosaurus, as they've all been packed away in my parents' basement for several years now and they were made of rubber and I'm afraid they might be partially melted now.

You mean the green and red tour vehicle, the Ford Explorer? Those JP toys are valuable now, worth taking care of.

Of course! But I read them a very long time ago so I would like to re-read them again. Michael Crichton is one of my favorite authors so I have read all his books except for the very last one he wrote.
