Nice Teeth, Dr.Walker

I take care of them. :D

They're pretty much straight. Never needed braces. Lol.

The dentist recommended braces for me, and my dad ask if it was a necessity not essential but there might be problems later on, and my dad opted not to put out the money. I'm having issues today with on of my bottom teeth cracking because of crowding Thanks Dad :wizard:

Hopefully it can be fixed for you soon. Dude, I'm going to have to get my wisdom teeth pulled out soon. I am going to be under gas to dull the pain as the dentist pulls them out, but I can't help but wonder how the pain will feel afterwards...

I feel for you.  I have soft teeth, basically.  They are suceptible to cavities.  I had to have braces when I was a kid.  3 1/2 years I wore them, and 2 1/2 years for a retainer after that (night only at least).  Since then I've had three wisdom teeth removed, one cut out the other two pulled.  The fourth is still in there, it's in a spot that makes it more dangerous to cut out than the risk is worth.  I've also had to have two root canals so far.  Relatively painless procedure, if long and uncormfortable.  The pain that comes before them, however, is excruciating.

@Mayra, thank you. I remember that they had a model of the Death Star II that was really big, but it was limited edition, so I don't think it's available anymore. I also visited a college campus that had a Lego exhibit one time, and one of the centerpieces was a huge Imperial Star Destroyer! Besides the Lego TIE Fighters, I still have a container of Legos on the top shelf in my room. I might either put it in storage or build something just for fun again later on.

That's the Death Star I have. The one with all the little characters. I love going to the Lego stores just to look at their displays. The one by Disneyland used to have a Darth Vader. It was so cool :D

I would have loved to see it. Darth Vader is my favorite villain in Star Wars.

Fun Fact: You can also get into a Disney Theme Park for free on your birthday.

And my LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter Collection!!

Posted Image

My mother gave away all my lego... went home one day, she was like "you're a grown man now, so I gave your lego away to a friend who has a young son who is into lego"

And I was like

"A grown man I may well be, but that doesn't mean I no longer like lego...." :crying:

The only star wars stuff I have left is Rogue Squadron for the N64, Clone wars for the gamecube and Battlefront for the PC.

I had a whole bunch of the episode I, II and III lego sets.... I even had some of the IV, V and VI sets; my favourite being the lego speeder bikes and scout troopers. It makes me sad remembering the brilliant shenanigans I had as a little boy with them....

Gah. I voluntarily gave my Lego away for my nephew some years back. I really wasn't doing much with them and he seemed to enjoy them. Your mother should have asked you about it.

He certainly saved some money. It seems to me that Lego sets are more expensive then they were back then. Not only that, but comic books as well. I used to be interested in comic books, but I noticed that one new issue of a comic series is $3 now. And recent comic collections are certainly high as well. I even had buyer's remorse when I bought some issues of DC Comics' 52 event at a flea market one time.

@Kira, thank you. I was a Yu-Gi-Oh player. I still have my collection of cards. Don't really find anyone to play Yu-Gi-Oh with anymore. I'm thinking about selling some of my cards, but I might hold on to the other cards I have for a while longer if I do find other players again later on.

I know that feeling all too well. I even went so far as to try to teach my mom to play. Didn't turn out well. I've got my collection still as well, all six shoeboxes full. I still have my favorite Crystal Beast deck built and the more recent Twilight Dragon and Black Rose decks that I still haven't used. I even had a Yata Lock deck back in the day, but the ban lists caused that to fall apart (and I thought it was so cheap to use too lol).

I've posted her before, but last night we almost lost our baby girl to a twisted stomache. So right now, we are exceptionally grateful for having this sweet dog in our lives, and the 10 years we've had her so far. We are very relieved to know that yesterday was not the end of that time. She's at the vet until sometime tomorrow, but everything looks great, and her survival is nothing short of a miracle. The disorder is extremely fatal.

i can so feel your relief. Real happy for you guys.

We named our newest foundling Lottie. I already know how broken we will be when we find her that new home.

Oh I'm happy that she's ok and nothing bad happened. Gastric Dilation and Volvolus is very, very fatal so it is definitely a miracle. I'm afraid that my dogs might get that since they are large breeds susceptible to that since they're deep chested dogs.

My chinchilla Gizmo died of a similar condition called Gastric Tympany. His stomach didn't twist but he did get bloated and I had to take him to the vet. He died later that night after trying to give him his medications :crying:  He was only 5 years old and still had about 15 more to live :(

Edit:
Oh and to cheer myself up, here's a funny story.

Today I got woken up very early in the morning by my dog barking very loudly and weirdly and I could hear him running around like crazy. So I looked out my window which faces the backyard and saw him chasing something small and furry. So I go outside and there's a small furry, dirty, little dog all afraid of this huge Doberman. So I put my dog in his kennel and pet the little dog then I took him outside into my front yard and then he ran off. It was a miracle my dog didn't do anything to this little dog or even kill him as he doesn't get along with other dogs including my Boxer Tiger.

But the question that left me wondering and scratching my head was, how did this little dog get into my yard? There's nowhere I could see that he could have come in through. That's the mystery of the day for me =]

I just noticed you have Gizmo in your sig. Gizmo is the greatest. I actually still have a Gizmo plushie that was gifted to me before I was born. Its fur is a bit worn, but he's still good.

Yeah, I love Gizmo!

I have a little Gizmo plushie too that hums the little song he sings. But I've only had him for a few years. I've also given a little Gizmo plushie as a birthday present recently too :)

FYI everyone, Lottie has found a new place to live in a house with a nice big garden with another puppy about her age and size. I don't think I've been this relieved for a long time. Keep your fingers crossed she can stay there for good.
