Gonna go out on a limb here, and just say...

You're hot. ^_^

All the chicks seem to be that post here.

Go BSN. Sadly, no girls I actually know are gamers. It sucks.

None in my area either. Most of my friends are guys because of that.

But I have met some amazing gals from here like Mayra. =]

But most girls collect shoes and purses, but I prefer to collect bullets and anything with a powerful engine. <3

See, if only there were more like you. ^_^

Well, I'm afraid I cannot quite live up to the high standards of the last couple of pages, but since I'm not doing anything, I might as well show you all my ugly mug:

This is actually the only picture I have of myself on my laptop. I think all the others are on my SD card, or else in albums of friends on Facebook.

Such wise words from one so young (and attractive and a petrolhead to boot).  And sums up the spirit of this thread perfectly. Even those, dare I say it, not attractive by superficial standards, are beautiful and brave people for putting a photo out there. <3 The only ugly people on this thread are those that mock those pictures while hiding behind anonymity (read: not putting themselves out there to be ridiculed in turn).

Anyway, thanks to my cousin's 50th birthday party a couple of weeks ago, I have a more recent photo of self (and much better half to my left). Photo has been cropped to protect the innocent (my kids).

I agree. It's all about attitude.
Age is just a number though. I have always sat back and observed the world. Learning from other people's experiences as well as my own. Take their experiences as if I had endured them myself.
I tend to not dwell on the past either. Just try and help predict the future.
They say wisdom comes from experience, and experience comes from age. Thus the assumption that just because you're older means that you've experienced more is born. But just because you've been through something, that doesn't mean that you've learned from it. You can experience a lot in a short amount of time as well. It just depends on your mind and your perception. =]

Beautiful picture too. Love it. <3

You are being a rascal again, Stardusk. You know full well that the (over)ripeness of one's body has very little to do with the ripeness of one's mind.

Yes and no. The mind deteriorates at a slower rate than the body but science confirms that younger people have a greater learning capacity than older people. Still the brain can be better maintained than the body.

It's only as true as you make it.
I have a messed up wrist. Bad accident. It gets painful in the winter time, but if I don't dwell on it then it doesn't hurt so bad.

Agree with this. Nearly lost my left hand due to a motorbike accident, and it hurts like a **** when I carry heavy stuff with it, but as long as you don't think about it, you completely forget it. Same thing with age I suppose. Mind over matter Stardusk, mind over matter :)
