@DragonRacer What a sad yet beautiful story. It really does kind of put things into perspective about how silly some of the complaints around here can be when there are genuine tragedies that happen out there. It's nice to hear that you're doing well and having fun.

@Lathrim I've been there, and it isn't a nice place to be I know, but I feel like I'd rather face anything that happens now or in the future and at least try to make it, rather than fall back into that other place. And that's all I'll say about that.

Anyway, I got an N7 hoodie recently, now I just need to get a damn picture of it, severe lack of picture capturing devices over here =/

Sirian - You explained yourself a bit more tactfully there. I think know what you mean, i.e. wanting attention rather than pure sincerity. I personally don't share anything too personal on a public forums as I'd be opening myself up to trolling. I would say tho that while they are total strangers to you, there's a LOT of bsners who have been posting here & playing together for months, so we actually know DR & Lathrim quite well.

Basically, you may doubt a persons motives, but even if you feel it itmight be Too Much Info - it's prob better not to criticise. If you don't know what the situation is, it's better to give ppl the benefit of the doubt.

No it's not that it's tasteless... it's hard to explain.

I just do not like to make a big deal out of my problems, and do not like sharing them with others, particularly random people I've never met and never will meet. I guess it just makes it a bit hard to take seriously when people are so open with complete strangers about stuff they claim is super important to them. 

That makes my more cynical side (do I have another side?) doubt their sincerity, or wonder how much it truly does matter to them, which, in turn makes ME feel like a terrible person for always assuming the worst of people, when they're probably totally sincere.

STOP MAKING ME FEEL LIKE A TERRIBLE PERSON, GUISE.  

P.S. I hope I don't come off as uncaring or heartless or whatever. That's not my intention. 

Completely genuine and sincere on my side. I am not someone who likes to put on airs. I just put it out there as honestly as I can. Just the way I am. In real life, I am a terrible liar for this very same reason, and I'm also awful at keeping a secret for very long at all. I feel no need to become a different person or put on a mask just because I have the safety of the Internet's anonymity on my side. Like a true Aries, I am blunt and direct. That is both a strength and a weakness.

I can't explain why, but I felt a need to get that post off my chest. Maybe guilty conscious on my part for always crawling up people's butts about complaining about BioWare. Wanted to share my perspective about why I'm so biased towards them, and that spiraled into going full story on why and maybe hopefully increasing awareness of real world problems, like appreciating family and being aware of other people's potentially fragile mental states. Apparently, Biggs finds that tasteless. I'm sorry that he/she feels that way, but I won't apologize for the honest disclosure.

I am sorry it made you uncomfortable. Again, as I said, it was something I felt needed to be said. I can't explain why. Maybe it gave something to someone (seems to have helped Lathrim, so it has fulfilled doing at least one positive thing). I dunno.

At any rate, I am all for going back to carefree fun. Especially since it's my fault things got heavy. Here, have a goofy picture:
