the first one was ok... the second one is Awful though. So awful I haven't had the courage to watch the 3rd one

I thought all three were kind of same.. except they run after 3 different things. And all of them have Shia yelling 'no no no no' like a boss ....all the time.

And here is a video I found
Shia yelling no no no like a boss!

I think it's simply just Shia's presence that screws a movie. I have yet to see any movie he plays in where he's even middling decent in his role. And from the ones I've seen, only Constantine didn't suck as a whole either (and probably only because he played the annoying side-kick, thus wholly in character for him).

Yeh, i'm not a huge Shia fan. I don't exactly dislike him, but him being in a film is definitely not a selling point for me.

Oh and hey Derek, nice to see you approve of this thread :). Now post a picture or else!

Transformers 3 was better for that reason, I'd take Rosie Whiteley over Megan Fox anyday.
Megan Fox- T.V. eye candy, cover of a few magazines, and maxim photoshoot
Rosie Whiteley- maxim photoshoot(twice), Victoria's Secret Model, and made top five U.S. most beautiful woman

Perhaps, but she has a permanent duckface and is even worse an actress than Megan Fox.

I'd say both are terrible actresses, but I think Rosie W is prettier. Megan Fox is more annoying in my book (esp as apparently she is a bit of a diva), maybe even more annoying than Keira Knightley.

Anyway Jennifer Lawrence is the best. And I'm not just saying that cos I love her in Hunger Games. Which was great btw. =]

If I want good looking women, I browse through playboy or the Behind the monitor... thread. If I want good acting by a woman, I look for movies by the likes of Emma Thompson, Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Naomie Watts so on and so forth.

Megan Foxes and Rosie Whatevs as actresses... bah...

I 'm sure i once read an interview that Megan Fox gave where she basically said she knew she wasn't that great an actress and that she wouldn't be able to get the parts she did if it wasn't for her looks. That actually garnered her a bit of respect from me. Not a lot mind, but a bit at least. Given the immense egos of many succesful actors/actresses, actually admitting your not very good at your job and are getting by on your looks is pretty unusual. That was, however, a few years ago. She may well have changed her tune by now.

And i'm shocked that after several page of talking about good and bad films, Uwe Boll hasn't come up once.

He makes Michael Bay look good.

I would say tho that we have a much lower plastic content than Playboy. Does that make a difference?

I do my best to ignore Boll's existence.  Bay's too, most of the time.

Yeah but..Uwe Boll is so bad it's good  Well nah- but I have watched a film of his or two and reading about the rest of them strictly for the lulz.

@Twinkles: I hated The Hunger Games. (but each to their own, I'm not knocking you for liking it, I love plenty of films that others would wonder about lol) In fact was there anyone that didn't like that film/book? I guess my main reason is the movie really did a horrible job of the "romance" aspect..it was off. And..other things as well. Also the state of YA books. :pinched: Gah. All my friends on Goodreads are major YA book readers so I get convinced to read a few here and there. Damn. I think I'll have to have a discussion with my daughter if she ever reads that stuff...after every and each book.
