Thanks, Erisley, but not a Harley fan at all. I prefer my bikes retro (or just old), modest, european and naked.

I can understand, and I'm not big on the surrounding culture, but I grew up near one of the factories, so there's some sentiment for the company. :) Fun to ride either way!

I can appreciate that. In South Africa, Harley riders are for the most part utter elitist ****s because they cost so much locally (much like Vespa riders amongst the scooter crowd). And then the bikes are as loud and obnoxiously ridden as possible too. :pinched::sick:

Yup, my first track day years ago. My body position was all wrong in that pic lol. I couldn't lean it much on right turns since as you can notice, the exhaust curve was very close to the ground. I ended up grinding the pipe and having it flat on that spot!

It's a CB400SF NC31, loved that bike, rode it hard and it never failed me. Sometimes I regret selling it. Been through some other bikes since then.

Here's a vid of another track day I did with her
www.youtube.com/watch

Wow, you have a quad! :o Racing a naked bike is always problematic around the pipe/s and pegs.

Would have loved to get my hands on one of those. Sadly Honda doesn't supply the CB400 locally, so my first was the little "Twister" I still own. It's got a very similar shape and trimmings, therefore I initially confused your old bike for one. I dearly love my Thruxton (and the two 570 km trips this festive season again proved why), but it's not really comfortable for the daily commute to work. The Twister is a little too small, even if it's much better suited.

What's good! I'm new to the whole Bioware forum thing but I'm totally addicted to Mass Effect! So, I thought I'd finally post. I'm definetly looking for some awesome people to show a lil rookie the ropes on gold and plat on PS3.

So here I am doing photo shoot, and a grainy cell phone picture!

Yeah, that was my 2nd bike. I was coming from a thumper (XT225). Mine was a grey import bike, Honda never sold it officially. It was imported from Japan by a third party that specialized selling JDM grey import bikes (tons of 4cil 250's and 400's). I think it was modded from Japan or something, since it was faster than other CB400SF I raced against...had a full system, but I think it also had some internal work. Loved the powerband, it was kinda like a 2 stroke, dead before 5k RPM then it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA until 14k RPM lol.

Twister, yup, ridden those a lot. A really good bike, Honda sold them for a couple years in here (Venezuela), but back in Brazil (where I was born) you can see them in every street corner!

I got a scooter (Burgman AN125) some months ago to commute to work, since I got a job near my house, and riding a Monster 620 (it's what I got now) daily around these parts isn't the best idea (my commute is 7 min). I am in love with my scooter. So cheap, so practical, so simple and it can zig zag around cagers like none of my bigger bikes can!

The Thruxton is a sexy bike. Would love to cafe one out! You have any pics of her?

Is "cagers" your local slang for "box pilots" (those of the four wheeled persuasion)?

I'm a little too lazy to search for what page, so I'll just repost the pic:

Mine's the red one (still factory standard as I like the low dB pipes), while the yellow one is a former work colleague's one with louder pipes and the older shape handlebar configuration. He had a restored Moto Guzzi, but when I got my Thruxton he had to copy me. I don't blame him, the Guzzi was a **** to maintain and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Had a Galaxy S first, now I have a Galaxy S3. Rooted, and considering putting a custom OS on it. :D

Do it. DOOOO IIIIITTTTT.

Currently on a Galaxy Nexus, previously had an Evo3D and the original Evo4G. Rooted them all and put (many) custom ROMs on all of them. It's like an addiction, you become a flash-a-holic. Choose better battery life, moar/different features, faster performance, or have it all. It's the main perk to running android, customizing it however you like.

I should do that to my S2, but I'm so lazy... XD

I'm planning to do it to my original Galaxy S, but I can't find a Rom I like, I've been all through XDA developers, but none catch my eye. What do you guys use?

Hmmm, what choices do you have? Lately I've been all about AOKP (the only ROM with a SWAGGER button, lol) and Euroskank (a CM10 kang with cherrypicks). I've run Slim before, **great** battery life, but he does some weird stuff to the DPI (so you can run in tablet mode) & the market/play store so I've occasionally run into issues with certain apps.

Well, cagers is from american english...but yeah :P

Good looking bike man. There's something in me that loves those kind of bikes. Wire wheels (even though I would hate to use tubes), that classic cafe look...a bike that invites you to ride and you don't need to be going full lean in a corner or 150 mph to enjoy her...

I've had two Ducatis...I know what you mean about being a PITA to maintain lol. Love the XT660X in the background too!

For S2 and S3, I've heard only good things about the SuperNexus ROM. Haven't checked it for updates in a while though.

I'm still waiting for the Official JB update for me S2, even though it's rooted...I flashed CM10 and Resurrection Remix, but had some issues and decided to go back to stock ICS.

My sister's birthday is coming up and I promised her to make her some of these. I did a trial run to make sure they set up right with the alcohol amount I went with. They turned out great, but these are only experimental. You can guess what I'll be doing with my ME3 friends this weekend ;)

Welcome aboard!  Unfortunately, almost no threads are as friendly and fun as this on on the main boards.  I'd recommend joining a group to pick up friends.  Most have a user list in their private boards, so just grab it and throw out a lot of friend requests.  You look a bit young for the Old as **** group, and we have very few PS3 players, but Bronze Effect is full of good, friendly folks.  So is Legion.  I'd recommend trying out those two first.

Damn I miss those, did you use vodka? I've used Gin, Absinthe and tequila but vodka is the one that's worked best. Although the absinthe ones didn't harden properly and sticking the slush in the freezer for an hour made a magnificent jelly, liquid, ice mix.

Ah yes, jello shots! Vodka works definitely the best. Living in a family of chemists, biologists and the likes making these was actually a breeze with some simple equipements and the right mix. They always turned out very jelly and full of alcohol, but you have to be extremely careful with temperatures!

Vodka shots in general have been the bane of many a braincell.
