Is the S2 going to get a JB update?

ICS is a really good choice for those phones that cant get JB. There is a thread on XDA where you can get a modded version of the JB Google Now app. It has it's "quirks" but Google Now is just plain awesome. That and Project Butter are the top 2 reasons in my book for getting JB.

Yes, at first it was announced that it was going to be released in November

Then in December

Now...I've lost hope, I'm happy with ICS and my phone as it is. Maybe will flash another custom ROM now that JB is more mainstream and hopefully the custom ROMs are more stable. Been wanting for the official JB update for the S2 so that the custom ROMs could have the hwcomposer for the S2 released (or something like that. I'm not that versed in that kind of Android tech).

Ahhh. They're probably waiting for some binaries (basically drivers for hardware). As open as Android is, there are still bits of proprietary that cant be worked around. The S2 is still a popular phone though so I'd imagine they will keep it up to date as long as they can. You're right to stay on ICS until (if?) the official JB comes out. I've run some hotwired ROMs of JB before official and it was painful. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/w00t.png[/smilie]

Keep hope alive!

My sister's birthday is coming up and I promised her to make her some of these. I did a trial run to make sure they set up right with the alcohol amount I went with. They turned out great, but these are only experimental. You can guess what I'll be doing with my ME3 friends this weekend ;)

Damn I miss those, did you use vodka? I've used Gin, Absinthe and tequila but vodka is the one that's worked best. Although the absinthe ones didn't harden properly and sticking the slush in the freezer for an hour made a magnificent jelly, liquid, ice mix.

Absinthe, you say?? But I used 108-proof moonshine, hence I called these Moonshots (Borderlands, anyone?) and was surprised when they actually congealed like they should. I've read suggestions of lemon vodka and lime jello and rum and pinacolada jello as well. I ate seven or eight last night and slept great :P but was not drunk in the least :( And I used 1/4 cup over 16 jello shots. I'll be making green apple tomorrow and I think I'll try a higher proof or higher amount.

Those are hard for everyone.  There's not really anything anyone can so or do to help you either.  I mostly fixed the first one in myself years ago, after an incident.  The second, I still deal with from time to time.  Or rather some scars pop up to kick me still every so often.  They are much better than they used to be though.

It's not so much that they're there, it's how I got them. A constant reminder of my seem to be inescapable past.
And the anger remains dormant, but every so often to comes forth.

But I know to control my temper before it controls me.

@Razrblack, I play the piano every chance I get. Mastering anything I possibly can. I did play the electric guitar for 9 years then dropped it about 5 years ago. Tried playing my friends a few weeks ago and I wasn't that great. x]

Our scars make us stronger as people. You control them, don't let them control you. You'll be a better person if you learn from them.

Glad to hear your temper is under control.  Mine used to get the better of me, hence the incident.  I hurt someone without real cause, and did it with out thought or control.  I didn't want to do that again, so I forced myself into controling it.  I can detach from my emotions pretty easily now, as a side effect.  Comes in handy, leaves me able to deal with things for my family.

I've always had it under control for some reason. I don't like throw punches or smash things when it comes out though. I'll just shake with anger and rant.
Yeah, me too. I can come off emotionless sometimes. I'm usually pretty chill now. Very laid back.
