Not true.  Seriously, try the Captain's Silver Spiced.  It's light, and quite good.  I usually drink my run straight.  Coke tastes like crap compared to rum, so no need to bring it down.

Can't drink clear rums anymore. Had way too much when I was a teenager...just the sight of it is enough to make me

The darker the rum, it's more aged, and therefore, more "premium". I drink regular aged rum with coke (because our coke is made with real sugar, tastes better than american coke), or for the premium ones, I love to drink them with a splash of Evian (or any sparkling water) and a splash of Lemon.

Angostura bitters with coke also make for a great taste! Just a couple drops though

Still, no thanks on the coke.  If anything, it's going to be fruit juice with me.  Orange and pineapple preferably, but lime juice and honey is pretty good too.

I might have around some nice recipes for rum drinks, if you're interested I shall post it later.

Have you tried it with iced tea? It's another combo I really love.

I have not, that does sound interesting.  I'm also a whiskey man, bourbon and scotch mostly (I'm from Kentucky, and half-Scottish).  But good rum is much cheaper than good scotch, so I usually go with rum.

BTW, they just opened a legal moonshine distillary about 10 miles north of Murray in Hardin.  Im still more of a Knob Creek and Buffalo trace person, though.

Lol Richard Parker's been my Skyrim character (Khajiit lol) since the game came out.

I still have to see the movie version. I bet it's one of those rare cases where it's almost as good as the book.

IMO it was really close and had the same feel as the book. My only minor complaint was that it skipped over the ending where he explains the alternative story, so I don't think many people who just watch it would understand the two ending choices or what they meant. 

Edit: I chose Khajit too 

WHAT?! That made the whole book!

Oh well. Khajiit power!

Here's hoping Bioware and Bethesda will one day collaborate on an open-ended first person shooter/rpg in the ME universe. Then all we'll need is Gearbox to throw some loot in that beeyotch and I'll never play another game in my entire life lol.

Agreed. But the irony is that  I introduced ME to him long ago, before MP existed (sometimes we still play together. Just professional relationship!).

Aw, that's kinda sad. At least you're still on good terms tho...it says a lot if I can both new mature about it. And you introduced him to something awesome so he'll always owe you one for that.

I'm on good terms with most of my exes, apart from one guy who threw a football at me & chased me down the road...last time I ever saw him, so funny looking back. I add this was NOT Upinya, no matter what he says! He doesn't need to chase girls down the street, he just dresses up as Rocky & they come running to him lol
